While the rest of the world are using mono rail speed trains, USA and Canada are still using locomotives that move areund at a speed of an adult turtle.

Is it the same exact train when you cross the border.... Or is there a different train waiting for you at USA border?

This is bleak and depressing.....but somehow fascinating at the same time ! Weird..?

Train is a nice way to travel if you have lots of free time and want to make it part of your trip. Much slower than air travel of course and all of these stops along the way can add up. We need a good intercity express like in Europe and Asia.

At 13:00 of this video looked just like the southbound Amtrak coast starlight being stopped at Oxnard station(excluding the inside track to get across that they don’t have at Oxnard)!

Albany Depew is where half of the train departs for Boston and the rest goes to NYC.

I’m taking the California Zephyr next April from Detroit to Roseville, Ca. Then two days later coming back.

Nice video horrible loud music.

Took this trip in June 2006. Booked in January or February. My roomette cost about $500 which I thought was fair.

Really all you've done is sat on your backside stuck your camera to the window to treat us some very bleak winter landscapes, do you actually eat money doing, don't even know what the train looks like please could these trips come with a warning so I don't waste my time.

It is a shame that in every view of the train going past an interstate, the cars are passing the train. The railroads have let the track go into such disrepair to allow faster speeds.
