@5:55 The answer is Northbound, Eastbound, then Southbound due to the driver on the right hand side having right-of-way at a concurrent stop.
Chicken fight!!!!!!
2:17 is the best!!!!
So refreshing. Today all we get is toxic on tv and social media has ruined us.
Sacred cow!
I had the pleasure of writing James Garner a film script, when I worked in Hollywood as an actor/ screenwriter, that picks up this film 20 years later, where he comes out of retirement to clean up the town, one last time. Garner was a joy to behold, genuine, thoughtful with this wonderful way of including you in his life.. Hollywood could take a lesson.
Joan Hackett was an absolute delight.
I would've loved to have seen that!!
@Susannah, Many thanks for your note. Indeed, it would have been a special film. A million best wishes.
NO PIECE PIECE OF MOVIE ASSHOLE
I loved Joan's movies!❤
Could you post her saying hello mr eddies father for my dad plz? He liked this show alot
I was hoping for that, too. HA!
OMG, Dick Shawn...."You're buggin' me man!" He and Jim Backus "What can happen with an old fashioned?" steal this movie for me.
@@joebivona5590 😂😂So good!
The Jim Backus lines are legendary....but where is Dick Shawn? To me, those two shined above all the other stars.
@@joebivona5590 He comes in part two!😄 I agree!
Dr Johnny Fever!
I don’t know why James Garner wasn’t a bigger star than he was.
I suspect type casting. He was never in very many dramas. Grand Prix and the Great Escape are the only ones I can remember. The rest were pretty much 1960's Rom-coms of one type or the other. He had a great on screen persona. If he was playing himself, he'd of been the type of guy you'd have wanted to know.
Squiggy was my Favorite.
My Favorite Show 😊
HaHa!!!! CLASSIC!!!!
OH MY GOSH!!!! THEY'RE SO STUPID!!!! WE MISS YOU BOTH SOOOOO MUCH!!!!
Detective: “Did he say anything before he died?” Jonathan Winters: “What about?” 🤣😂
Best ? - they were all great . . .
Mother Bea and father Jay.
And even then, Hawkeye didn't believe him.
JOAN Hackett was absolutely beautiful 😍
Wonderful comedy. I first saw the movie in 1969. I always loved Joan Hackett.
Hearing Balki so smoothly say "elongation" was unexpected
Walter Brennan played quite a role in that movie. He got cocky and sassy. He was himself.
“He stuck his finger in the end of your what?”
The fireman on the ladder was the original voice of Winnie the Pooh, believe it or not.
THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING!!
We can’t forget Jack Elam as one of the best character actors of that time. He was great
This was a real nice movie! Humor from ordinary events gone awry and screwball sideways. The running joke about Australia for instance
I loved her in Will Penny with Charlton Heston.
Have you been eating brandy peaches without the peaches again? This episode is probably my favorite(or at least in my top three) episode of Gilligan's island!
None of them have ever watched Mary Ann walk! None of them are right! 😂
If only life was like the movies...... sigh
One of the few movies I've watched more than twice. Highly recommend it to anyone unsure about it.
I am not crazy
With all due respect you're muddying the waters.
Ha ha ah, I’m sorry I clicked on this and realised I got it mixed up with Blazing Saddles! lol!
Loved Joan Hackett! She left us too early. 😢
I have forgotten the name of the elderly actress in the third clip. But she was a superb actress; people may remember Blazing Saddles.
Kathleen Freeman. She was also the nun in The Blues Brothers.
@@dominicbuckley8309 And she was Emil Muzz' bold landlady in "Dragnet" who was interrogated by the officers Friday and Streebeck.
I saw this film, when I was 16 years old and now I'm over 70. I have seen it many times again and laugh through all the scenes, just like Iam 16 again:) god bless all the characters
Freddie and Eddie from Used Cars!!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Did they intentionally give her a lace sleeve shirt to make biscuits!?
It's a film. And a comedy, and a parody. Yes, they did.
Rochester and Peter Falk as cabbies. Perfect
Ethal Merman convinced me at 15 to never get married.
These are awesome to the best comedy ever, yes still & its june 2024!!!! Bettingmyself the last clip/scene involves a banana peal...LOL!!!! CHEERS!!!
What was the blooper?
This short clip shows Della and Perry getting into an elevator from a hotel lobby, only they share the same flooring (no gap). A small error, but I thought it was funny
Fix me a drink like dear old dad used to make and not so sweet this time.
I love how the first 10 minutes of the movie is basically Milton Berle constantly repeating “he just went SAILING right out there!”
Every line is a gem. The twist that the truck driver lost his truck made a incredible plot line and more gems. And the unlikely alliances. You're right. It's a diamond. Life couldn't have produced a better cast from people essentially born before the 1920's.
Like a stuck needle!
I'm 58 and I'd argue that this still holds up today as one of the funniest movies ever filmed.
I agree!
I’m also 58 and 100% agree. It’s my whole family’s favorite.
As a kid, I had the hardest time understanding this show because everybody seemed too old for what they were doing.
C'mon!! It's Easy!! 😂
😂
MY ARM!! YOU BROKE MY ARM!! 😂
