Just logging the best setting for Boya Mic (BY-M1) [Works best for me at least] Make sure you use HEADSET and keep the mic in OFF/Smartphone state Enjoy PS: Recorded this in English language to help a larger audience and this video is recorded in OBS using BOYA Mic :D Cheers!!!!
This video had better info than the instructions that came with the microphone. First, I did not understand that the speaker function was for monitoring input to the mic, I thought it was supposed to play track 1 while I was recording track 2. Secondly, I had not gotten some of the settings from the instructions that were included in this video. So trying to use the mic's speaker function wasn't doing anything at all.
You have to connect headphones to your mic in order to use Mic’s speaker function … If you look near the bottom of your mic you’ll see a small headphones logo. Can you try it?

i have JBL CSL M20B and its not working withmy laptop . i have dedictaed mic in and audio out ports in laptop. please help.
the JBL mic looks quite similar to the BOYA one Make sure you use the port where you plug the earphones, make sure to use the setting given in the video If nothing works then can you try using it with your friend's laptop to check if it works there?
