This last weekend I took care of something that I should have done when the trees were smaller. I had a few trees with double leaders and a few more that were 2 years overdue. It was very difficult to trim some of these trees after trying to keep them alive for so many years.

Sorry, it's been so long since I've been catching up on your channel, that looks like a fun fair. That was a pretty sweet building, I love the beams with the exposed hardware. How is your knee replacement doing, other than it being tired after four hours of being on it? I'm assuming well but had to check.
Doing well man. I had my busiest weekend with the Tree farm and my knees did well. There was not anything that I could not do. On my feet 3 days and carrying Christmas trees all over the place. Things are good. As far as TH-cam, I haven't made a video since this one. I need to get back on the horse.
@@watkinstreefarm6880 Yeah man, that's good for the knee. Yeah, I guess you had mentioned the knee giving you some issue after 4 hours at the fair, but that was almost three months ago, which means three more months of healing. Yeah, keep the videos coming. But sometimes it's good to take a break too.
What model of planter is that? I have a 1025r and need to plant roughly 1000 miscanthus rhizomes and I think that would work great!
I am sorry I have no idea. I found it on market place and is has been cut and modified over the years. I will look it over & see if there is marking indicating a manufacture.
Do yourself a favor, buy some Kobalt knee pads from Lowe’s. Kneeling on concrete hurts EVERYONES’S knees.
Yeah, I probably aught to do that. LOL
Do you prefer bare roots or plugs?
I do bear roots. Have not tried plugs. I believe they are more $$ as well.
Getting my John Deere 1023 and box blade next week, thanks for the video
No problem. Glad I could help.
Great job n having family involved 🙏🏼
thank you!!
How deep were you running your tines here? Were those old tree roots that were turning up behind you or just sticks? Did you make any later deeper passes before planting your seedlings? What happens when you catch a live tree root with the tiller? This area was nice and open but if you are replanting in established areas near growing trees, it seems like hitting roots is inevitable. Must be nice not to have to deal with rocks!
Pretty sure they were roots. I went over it a couple times and the depth was as deep as the tiller will allow. Around 6-8 inches. Thanks for watching.

Pretty good for a new knee! Zero turns are pretty nice!
I feel like the recovery is doing well. Zero turn will be my new goal for the farm.
Just picked up a Wood Boss, thanks for the tutorial. I always learn better by seeing & doing.
Awesome!! I work that way as well. I like a little more hands on.
Your poor kickstand :(
Yes sir. I seem to forget to put it up.
Just got this as my first chainsaw. Very pleased! 😅 Thank you for the review it was helpful.
Glad I could help.
Did you take any anti nausea meds for your nausea?
No. I did not.
Do you need to screw the washer dryer to the pedestal? Some times the Washer can vibrate a lot if some heavy quilt etc is washed. I was wondering f there are chances of it slipping and crashing.
I can just say from my experience with a front loader, we have not had an issue in 3 years.
We just got a new front load washer and dryer and the wife asked the same of me. This is a nice easy to do design. Our store wanted $500 for pedestals. Yikes! Heading to the store now.
Good Deal. Good luck with the project!!
Beautiful Deck❤😊
@@renee2005 thank you
Awesome😊❤
@@renee2005 turned out pretty well.
Happy to see you out and about doing chores, that means your recovery is coming along. I have one more week to get stuff done before my surgery.
@@FloridaDeere Good luck my friend and pray everything goes to plan.
I just bought mine and I was lost thanks for the useful info

This power washer sucks won't even rinse mud off my truck
Sorry man. You must have some good clay!!
Glad to see you are healing!
Thank you very much!!
That knee is bending good!
Yes it is. By the end of the day it swells up but doing good for the most part. Thanks
so I got to buy a tractor lol😅😅😅
Good deal. You’ll love it!!
Glad to see the quick recovery! I'm awaiting my final clearances to have my right knee total replacement. Had a partial replacement of the left knee back in 2011, had a heart attack 5 days later. Still had a good outcome. Good luck.
Good luck on the surgery. I assume you partial is doing well. With the right knee complete soon you will be able to take on anything. God bless you!!
My 251 is still going strong . Great weight and power for 45.6cc. Good firewood saw. Also have the 290.
yeah I was looking around for something a little bigger. Curious what people thought was a good size but not too big.
Dude, you're killing me, this was a video I'm not sure I should have watched🤣🤣. I'm getting the same thing done, but right knee coming up on Sept 4. Total replacement, people ask what happened, I tell them I'm an active 50 year old with 70 year old knees. My left knee is fine for now, but I'm sure I'll be heading to replacement at some point in time in the future. Not sure I'll do a video, I'm a big baby and happen to be allergic to pain, so it would just be a video with a lot of whining and complaining😂😭. Happy to see a month later and you're doing good, your knee in a few of those pics looked freaking huge! They mentioned to me I could watch a video they have showing the whole knee replacement. I figured for sure that was the best way to get me to back out, so I elected to not view it. Had hernia surgery earlier this year, the best part was when I woke up and didn't even realize they had done the surgery yet, I still thought we were rolling towards the OR. I hope I have a similar experience. Glad to see you are doing so well Jeff! Getting old sucks.
Good luck my friend on the upcoming surgery. The first few days are rough but you will be just fine. A couple months down the road you will have a pain free knee that works. Good to hear from you!!
Appreciate the video man helped me out
@@pmaddox Thanks. I am glad I could help.

@@mestizodrb3013 No problem. That’s why I do it.
Relatable. Great vid bub
Thank you.
Just out of curiosity, how high does the bucket on your tractor reach? I have a lady that wants a swing stand somewhat like this made to accommodate a swing that her late father had. I have a small BX tractor but your looks to be a bit bigger than mine so I'm not sure if mine will work or not because I might have to rent one.
@@kristyfarmiga-bj4ic Don’t know exactly but I am guessing 8-9ft. My tractor is a JD1026

how is the battery after 2 years?
Good. Last me right around 30 minutes. Use it all summer.
@@watkinstreefarm6880 what is the good way to maintain the life of the battery ? When is the best time to charge the battery.
Good luck with the knee surgery, Jeff. My bother had both replaced at age 60 and is so happy to have done it. Yeah, I'm looking for that money tree too! -Ed
Thank Ed. Much appreciated. You take care.

Thanks. Will do.
Great fireworks footage! God bless you and the doctor on your surgery. Let us know if you could use some extra hands. Hope to see you soon.
Thank you and I will keep you informed on our needs out here at the farm. Take care Andy and tell the family hi.
Looks good. Maybe it just needs a couple hundred more pounds to dig in better.
Yeah that might help. Thanks!!

Je ne vois plus la température extérieure et tout le reste fonctionne ces quoi le problème
Thanks for watching
My old Black and Decker's batteries just can't hold a charge anymore so thinking about picking one of these up. Thanks for the detailed instructions and help.
no problem!! Thanks for watching.
An air or electric impact breaks the 5/8 bolt loose without having to hold the motor. No need to remove battery. All can be done from underneath. If the pulley is stuck on the shaft the 3 tabs can be bent back slightly to get the belt on, just make sure to bend them back.
Would make things easier. On the wanted list. Thanks for watching
You stained yours … do other people paint theirs like I’ve seen grey or white …. But it’s all pressure treated correct, I can’t use basic pine ? Thanks
I am sure painted deck would be fine. It need to be out door paint for sure.

If you are going to get an extra battery, you are better off buying another weed eater with the battery, battery alone is $179.99. with the price i see at ace hardware
