nice job with the reskin, but CLA means Cleaning Lubrication Adjustment - none of that was done in this video except of that little bit speck removal on 1 glas. Would love to see some proper CLA sometimes, keep up the good work!

I visited your channel before, but notice that you have not done any videos for 2 years, i hope you are well and i was wondering if you are planning on doing any more? The S1a or any of the pentax are popular ones for working on and the one thing that seems to be missing from the internet is curtain / shutter replacements or maintenance. For now as i say i hope your well but your teaching is very good and clear easy to watch and follow. Regards David

When the Canon 7 was released, Nikon s lenses could be fitted i on the 7 too. But, the Nikon s lenses would fit on thr Contax ii and the Kiev versions, but they would not focus correctly. On the Nikon lenses that fit the 7, they would engrave it with a C to delineat it.

The Canon 7 is an unbelievable RF bargain. Leica quality at 1/10 the price. It's the Leica for intelligent people.

Brilliant work. I tend to be awful at repairs, so the less complex the better. The door mechanism seemed like something I'd screw up but I was really pleasantly surprised to see how easy the shutter dial was to deal with. Minolta didn't make theirs easy at all.

Canon 7 is the only one with projected bright lines like on a Leica M. The Canon P's framelines are just lines applied to the center eye piece glass.

I have an Spotmatic SP too, it works well except the light meter, it only reads well at the bulb position, i can adjust the needle with the aperture ring, but when i change the speeds it goes down, any idea or sugestion? Thanks in advance.
