Patrick is one of my all time favorite actors.

Has anyone worked out the last picture reference? All these clues in the videos and nobody's working them out. Good comments hopefully questionable.

Perfect in The Prisoner, but over the top and quite irritating in Ice Station Zebra.....

I can't help but notice every time Patrick uses his middle finger to push his glasses up to the bridge of his nose. I have to assume that was not sending a message.

Patrick said that it's wrong to try to appeal to entertaining the majority and one should have a message to get out and should make that story. Unfortunately that is exactly the same argument put forward by those who have been destroying pop culture today [Star Trek, Doctor Who, Star Wars, Marvel, DC, and more] by force feeding the potential audience with THE MESSAGE that favors a very limited political and social agenda and the audiences have been leaving in droves.

I am currently restoring a Lotus Super 7 1500 Series 2 ((1968) to copy KAR120C (Arrival to Do Not Forsake version).

I do think that not all the episodes in The Prisoner were of high quality, especially when Patrick McGoohan was away filming Ice Station Zebra.

I don't know whether Portmeirion is bizarre because of it's associations with the Prisoner, or because it is just surreal to begin with.

The Prisoner is a legendary show.

Leo McKern was IMHO the best No.2

The Prisoner is one of my favourite series. It never ages, and I can watch it over and over.

One of the finest episodes of the whole brilliant series. Haven't watched it in ages but I always remember the beautiful scenes of number 6 launching and sailing the boat. They got the light just right. The visual poetry of freedom. Thanks for your superb commentary.

A really excellent presentation, but the purist in me balks at the colourisation of the "Danger Man" episodes!

Twenty years ago, in Edinburgh, i saw a guy wearing a penny farthing Prisoner badge. I thought that was rather cool!
