Stop the car some place safe and do 20 Jumping Jacks. Stretch using your Hamstrings. Do twenty more jumping jacks. If you can get a cup of coffee after that you'll be good for 8 hours.

This will need to be done by diagnostic scanner to change the sensor position

Hi Mr David, i tried pressing the lock button twice but my X70 doesnt honk. Also held the lock and unlock button for a few seconds to get the honk sound when i unlock the car but theres no sound. What should I do? Thanks

Hi, David, thanks for your informative videos. I have few queries below: (i) my x70 model was imported from China, can i update the software just like those CKD models? (ii) My 1GB sim supposed to last for five years and due soon, how to entend this data package upon expiry? What's that data package and its cost? Thanks in advance.
Hi Allen, The update is the same for both CKD and CBU. The 1 GB data can be purchased from the Proton Link Apps @ RM 8 per GB. If your car is not registered under your phone number please contact Proton customer care hotline or Authorize service center for the further arrangements. Hope this is helpful for you. Hi, it’s not needed to be in N. This is a wet clutch system which doesn’t use the release bearing on the clutch.

What is the meaning of 'no tpms signal'? Now facing the problem
Probably some of the TPMS sensor is defective.
Hi David. This morning the both left and right command buttons on my LCD screen didn't turn on. Im not sure if you can understand me. On the right, Media and Radio and on the left, there are Home, Back buttons etc. Both sides no light. Do you know what usually is the issue ? Everything else is working, I can still listen to the radio, BT etc.
Hi Adeline, Probably you should try to press & hold the power button until the IHU restart to get it light up… If the problem still persist, you will need to check with the service center. Hope this will help.

Hi Mr. Ong. My X70 just 2 months old couldn't start this morning. It shows intelligent key invalid. I placed the key in the keyhold, pressed the brake, still wouldn't start. What exactly is the issue ?
Hi Adeline, Sorry to hear this, most probably the battery is dead… Have you solved the issue now… Should be able to claim under warranty
@@davidong2898 i had to tow the car to the service centre. Very unfortunate that my battery was dead. Don't understand how it could happen as it is a brand new car. SO the centre recharged my battery. Hope it will last for 2 yrs ! Thanks for your response.
@@adeline2314 in the future make sure you always lock your car, otherwise the battery will drain faster
@@davidong2898 Oh, I didn't know that. I think some nights I forgot to lock my car. But then again, how can this drain battery so fast ? This didn't happen to my previous car. I had no issue not locking car. Sigh....Proton X70 is really giving me a headache. Prefer a more simple car ! hahah.....
@@adelinechan2582 Usually not 1 day not lock 🔐 and the battery will be dead. Any car also have its minor issues, just enjoy the bright side 😎🙏

Mr David, example if stop and leave the car forget to press lock the door, safety door locking automatic function have or not.
It wouldn’t be lock, If you forget to lock the X70.. But the X90 does come along with the walk away locking function😅
When I rotate the tyres (swapping the front pair with the rear pair to equalize tyre wear), how do I reset the TPMS so that it reads properly?
This will require to be done with the diagnosis scanner to recalibrate the sensor’s position, and all Authorized dealers can do this.

Hi, It's a standard software programming which it can't be change..
@David Ong vehicle had a problem due to which these things displayed even after switched off. I contacted mechanic, he refreshed the vehicle software by determinalise battery

Mr David... my lock not lock if i touch the door knob using finger...i produce horn sound 3x. I lock manually using the key. Same thing if i try to open n slipped my finger into the door handle...cant automatically open. I manually open by pressing the open key. Just bought the car today... Does it need to set 1st before auto lock like what u presented here?
Hi, just to be sure that when you touch the lock sensor area, don't put your hand inside the handle at the same time. This might confuse the locking system with two signal simultaneuosly happen. Hope you have resolve the issue and sorry for the late response..

Usually if the key is ok, just press the unlock button will do
