How wide is the table saw at its widest points. The specs online only give me the table size doesn’t give over all width once it’s assembled
It’s 64” wide, it’s also 33” front to back and with the fence that hangs over the back and handle on front it’s 41”
@@woodscheidcreations8188thank you very much for the measurements and the extra measurements because that will definitely be useful as well.
like most idiots trying to demonstrate this worthless garabage,,,,,what he doesnt tell you is the jig is fraud,, and you can make anything that will line up , you can make a perfect half blind dovetail on one side, but there is no way to get the other sides to line up , which is why this fraud didnt show the complete drawer with it all lined up , dont subscribe to this idiot
excellent video , just didnt realize or pay attention it only cuts half blinds , super disappointed, but then again for $40 compared to 200 for porter cable , i guess still ok deal
I thank you for this review. I was taught to have only a little over 3 teeth above the thickness of the wood I am cutting. I've been using this for over 50 years and I use the same setting when using a skill saw
Great job
I’ve seen thousands of videos on TH-cam throughout my adult years. This video right here is the best thus far. For the very first time, I was able to watch this video alone and understand. More often than not, I find myself watching multiple videos to understand one topic. Outstanding work and thank you.
The space between the fingers is 1/2 inch but the instructions say to use a 7/16 bushing. Will both the 1/2 or 7/16 bushing work? One commenter said 7/16 works better than the 1/2 but why?
Beautiful!
Hello what is the wood carver tool you used to make praying hands is it by DeWalt?
It’s a Bob’s CNC machine it has a dewalt router mounted in it.
Change “official size set” into “almost official size set”
excelente video
thank you I liked this, super good straightforward.
This is an excellent tutorial and really helped me build my own version for BB guns. Thanks!
Great video! Those look awesome. When cutting segments, a couple things im doing to minimize chip out is I use a little 1/8” backer which really helps and I tend to raise the blade a bit more than usual and that seems to help too. I also use gold downs - having the board locked down helps get a perfect cut. And I use a full kerf blade - thinner ones will wobble and not result in a perfect cut
To confusing 4 me the camera angles are bad
This is awesome thank you so much h for sharing. I love that i can slide it under bed
I collect, strip, restore and repaint these antique cast iron frames. It looks like a double bed frame, made to accommodate a queen mattress. It's nice but honestly, it would look better if it was left the way it was. Also, the mattress looks lifted, because the side rails, or slats would accommodate a box spring that goes into the frame, so the mattress is up higher than it should be, which obscures most of the ornamental castings. To each his own, at least you didn't chop it up and make a bench out of it, or stick in the backyard as a "flowerbed" as I've seen some people do. Looks nice and comfy.
Does he answer any questions?
It's like they are still building biplanes in the jet age. Aluminum doesn't warp like plywood
Great...Tks.
Great build! I really like the unique design of the jewelry box. The secret lock was a cool touch! 😁🐻
Can u cut the left and right from the same set up?
Oh my goodness, this is such a wonderful tool. Thanks for the craftsmanship put into this one of a kind clapper.
Oh and by the way, I purchased one from my favorite quilt shop “The Quilted Cowgirl”.
really liked the demo on how to fill and color the fly inset... was wondering how to do that!
cool build...
Awesome stairs!! It’s hard to find nice ones that fold. Thank you for the video!
I am poor. I'm trying to reinvent myself and teach my autistic non verbal son to learn to do kneelers and sell them for a living. You have wonderful tools and your work is beautiful. Saint Joseph help us. Amén
Looks great!
Let me know if your selling more. I would be interested.
Where do you order your foam inserts from?
Amazon, search fly ripple foam.
Rad! Are you selling them? I have the same grizzly tablesaw and would love to just buy them instead of making them 😆
Awesome video and really helpful for planning a prayer kneeler I'm going to build. The Tusk Tenon joint is my favourite and I'm keen to incorporate it on my design, but I'm curious about how you've incorporated it here? Would you say that since the other joints are glued, that it becomes more decorative than functional? Meaning, you wouldn't be able to dis-assemble it, correct?
Best video so far I’m doing a small project that involves dove tail drawer boxes and I was getting a little overwhelmed at my old shop we used the porter cable jig but it’s 250 the harbor freight is about 39.99 hopefully I can get a little better 💪🏼
Anyone have any suggestions? I would like to have some way that I could keep a prayer bench in my living room but have it be hidden so people who come in my apartment don't think I am intentionally "showing off" that I pray and actually have a prayer bench.
Excellent Teacher thank you!
I just got the equivalent Shop Fox (model W-1888). I don't know why in the world they make a saw where you can't easily fabricate a zero clearance throat plate out of 1/2" material. The pad that the throat plate rests on are only 3/16" of an inch below the table top! So making a zero clearance throat plate is going to be quite a challenge. This thin throat plate thing seems to be a trend with a lot of new saws. Manufacturers - stop doing this! You are supposed to be concerned with safety yet a safer than stock DIY throat plate is going be resting on edges that are only 3/16" thick? Instead of worrying about blade stopping technology, dust collection (also a safety thing in my estimation), why not go back to making saws with a 1/2" thick throat plate? Or, at least provide us with a zero clearance throat plate when we purchase the saw? Another thing I find very odd is the miter gauge. Although heavy and quite nice, it does not have any provision to screw on a piece of wood to extend the face/working length. I personally do not like the magnifier on the indicator for the tape measure. While a good idea in theory it's hard to see the lines. I'm making a pointer which will replace it Other than that, I find this saw to be good. Powerful and smooth with a nice, solid fence.
Your boxes are magnificent. Can I ask if you are willing to share the design for the machine? Or perhaps indicate if it is available for purchase. Thanks!
I don’t mind sharing the file, its V-Carve. I don’t have an place I sell them but I can sell you one if interested.
@@woodscheidcreations8188 is there a location or way to get copy of your vCarve file? I have had trouble setting up such.
@@woodscheidcreations8188Hi, I am wondering if you are willing to share the CNC design? I am thinking of making one for my boss? Happy to pay? Regards Tim
If you flip that 2x4 center brace upright and put 2 clasps on the sides, you could store the corn bags in the bottom half and clamp them together. Add a carry handle in the center and it would become its own carry case!
Beautiful!
If you can't keep your idiot screaming dog quiet during a filming, wait until you get the mut under control, because no one wants to hear that loud annoying noise which destroys the peace of every neighborhood.
Would you by any chance have plans to sell or share? I have been asked by our local homeless shelter to make some.
Well done!
If you build a lot of boards, I recommend building a board template with the hole in it already & using a down spiral bit & ride the template's circle. All you need to do is drill a pilot hole close to the edge of the 6" circle to put the bit in and take your time. You will get a pretty nice hole and it's repeatable. I build all my frames from solid Poplar instead of 2x4's and add dual middle braces & 3/4" Baltic Birch plywood.
Very good video! And thank you for not using 3/4s of the video just showing the assembly of the stand.😊
This is by far the best video on how to make a gun rack. Was disappointed by the other 3 I watched, but this video is speaking my language. Building one as we speak.
What are you spraying the wood pieces with before assembly and why? Thanks!
It was suggest in the instructions to spray the plywood pieces before assembly. I believe I used a spray lacquer.
Does anyone know what brand his bandsaw is
It’s a Grizzly 14”. Its black for there anniversary addition instead of the normal green
Can you do a video of all your tools and machines?
Thank you, I’ll work on a shop tour.
What is the purpose of the 1/2" spacer block?
It offsets the front and top fence by 1/2”. The two pieces need to be offset to make both cuts a the same time.
You really need a microphone.
