I'm just here watching videos of people's physical media collection while working and came across yours. Desert Hearts is one of my all-time favorite movies so it was so cool to see you pull out that VHS at the end! It's truly one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen and I think you'll love it. I just got the Criterion Blu-ray a few weeks ago. Subbed!

💁... A lot of films you are picking up have 4KUHD versions. I understand that not everyone can afford to purchase the 4KUHD versions of all the films they want. I certainly can't. However, my personal preference, I would spend the extra money and get the highest quality version of one film that I really love, versus three or four that I like / want and getting them on Blu-ray. There really is a huge difference between Blu-ray and 4KUHD. The 4KUHD format not only is a bump up in resolution, but also offers HDR, better color timing, and in many cases better sound. ... You know that you are becoming a compulsive collector when you start watching Vinegar Syndrome, Second Sight, Kino Lorber, Arrow Video, Criterion, A24, Shout Factory, Blue Underground, Diabolik, Gruv, and many other websites just waiting for the next premium package 4k boxset to drop / be announced. As a collector with an extensive collection (a little over 2k titles) buy what you like and plan on what to prioritize. Otherwise you will miss out on highly prized collector editions and never able to purchase them again for reasonable prices. I wish there were more female collectors on TH-cam that were sharing their passion for film and physical media collecting.

Very nice haul. Hold onto your physical media because distribution is getting scarce now. They don't want us to own movies anymore, they pretty much want us to succumb to streaming services.

I LOVE showgirls!! I think that might be my favorite Paul Verhoeven movie even more than robocop. I gotta tell ya though there’s no way that’s the first R rated movie you ever saw, cause that one’s rated NC-17 lol

That VHS release of Desert Hearts is an awesome find and it’s a Vestron Video release to both. It’s also cool that it still has the original label on the tape as most Vestron releases tend to lose them over time. Great haul by the way.
