Thank you for presenting with such enthusiasm.
I am confused, then when should this blue muffin viburnum be pruned?
Very informative
Hello, I have a question about boxwood shrubs. I want to get a tall boxwood so I can shape (topiary) in my front yard. I have read in many books that I can take three or four and place them together to make a tall upward shrub. My question is should I just use one plant or should I put four of them together? Let them grow in shape later on. I cannot seem to find any information on what is best. Thank you for your time!
Will this variety produce multiple saplings throughout the lawn area like the 'Cleveland White Select' Pear?
i love norway maples, i have green and purple ones on my property. great trees
Hey, just a heads up. there are several different varieties, (about 500). I JUST found this out! I have tons of the really pretty one you showed (the 4th example). Apparently, that variety is highly toxic. I'm going to keep researching because, A) I have a ton of it and would love to use it medicinally, etc., and B) if it is indeed poisonous I'd like to give people a heads up. It's unbelievable how much information is out there but is totally conflicting. Oh, I'm not trying to cause any trouble, just thought I'd mention it. Hopefully, I'm wrong.
Is there a birch, hopefully variegated not cool if not that grows around 15'?
Beautiful video lesson! Thank you very much for creating this video and sharing this information. Truly helpful. Love it!
Great video! Thank you very much for creating this video on the Serbian Spruce. Good information and pictures. Truly helpful. I learned a lot! Thanks!
Wonderful video! Thank you very much for all the information and nice pictures. Truly helpful!
I have planted mine in partial shade, will it still bloom?
Hi ! Would you know How long will it take for one of this trees to Blum from a 5 gallon container ? Thank you
I just bought one of these from Lowe’s, big box store. I live in northwest Indiana. Says it’s cold hardy to zone 5. I have to protect this in the winter?
I have two of those beautiful trees, Iñike to stare at it just appreciating.
I hate to disagree but the Amareican Elm can't hybridize due to the fact that it has an extra set of genes in its sequence that all other elms don't have so it is literally impossible. But it can be grown through genetic cultivars such as the Princeton elm tree to gain some resistance. The elm that this video is probably talking about is the slippery elm which does have a a matching set size of DNA to other Elm trees. If you are the owner of this video, please update to be more accurate.
I have them, how do I trim them without hurting them, the flower is turning brown. I want to encourage new growth, but don't want to hurt them.
How quickly do they grow if proper fertilizer and watering is used? Thx!
Are they always just yellow or do can you potentially get orange?
Great video I just purchased seven 5ft white spruces from Home Depot and planting this weekend. We live in NW Indiana where pine trees are abundant. My soil is a sandy soil black dirt mix. Anything different i should do with sand? How far apart should i dpace them. Thanks
Nice!
Are they grafted?
Great information.... I hate the way you say Mucho and Foliage. - Sincerely, some random jerk on the internet
Can you shape it into a single or multi trunk small tree?
Can some of the trunks be cut out without killing the tree?
Thx for the video. I planted 4 of these lining my property. They're about 15 feet tall now. Can I keep them from getting 40 feet tall by trimming them now? I figured if I cut the top foot off it will impede its growth.
Ever red or bloodwood Japanese maple.. I’m puzzled…they are on sale at Home Depot….
Impossible to listen to you. Talk normal
Hi guys! I ordered a flamethrower redbud online, but it’s just a stick without any budding, no branches, no leaves! I did cut the top to see if any sign of life, and there is some small green in the center. Any tips to help it grow, would be much appreciated!!!
I planted a Crimson King Maple 23 years ago. It was in a low spot of my backyard that could see the excess rainfall. In the last few years the bark started to crack, This year, I had to cut it down as it didn't make it through the summer and hardly produced any leaves and all the branches were dry as a bone. I miss this tree.
ill plant an extra one this summer in memory of the one you lost
These are beautiful. I wish I had planted these instead of bradford pears around the border of my yard. I could still find a place to squeeze one in a suppose might even cut down a bradford pear.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ thank you!!! Would this work on the Oregon Coast 9a? Does this have a robust root system that would be of concern near a house foundation?
Hello Archie, thank you for such an informative video. I want to replant a Crimson Queen to a full sun part of my property so it can be more of a focal point. Would I be doing any damage to it in doing so?
You never say anything about Dwarf Korean Lilac. So this video is worthless.
Good info I'd love to keep mine blueish purple.
How do they resist winter burn in zone 7a?
The crimson king Norway maple is considered an invasive in Pennsylvania
we have a Kousa Dogwood that is growing like a “V”- its been in the yard about 4 years, How do you trim it to get the middle to fill in?
Can snow fountain be planted in a pot? If so how do i care fornitnin michigan winter
I ❤ mine
I received one last year. Itlooks very healthy but did not bloom this year. Any ideas
Thanks for videos. Started self teaching for propagate different plants
What is the ideal distance between two of these trees?
Good video. Good job.
I have 4 dogwoods which appear to be similar. All of them flower after their leaves appear but 2 of the trees have smaller white flowers and smaller leaves. They also grow up right. The other 2 have larger flowers and branches that appear to weep. Is there different types of kousa dogwood?

Worth pointing out that some of these images feature colour editing to increase the pinkness of how the tree actually looks.
No, some redbuds have a very saturated color.
I was looking at some young ones at a nursery, early to mid May in NJ. They are dark purple. I saw a mature one in someone’s yard and it is more “fiery”. I’m wondering if there is color variation tree to tree, or is it age difference?
It's time of season. As the weather gets colder it goes back into a crimson red and less purple.
Is this cultivar invasive?
Hello. Love your video. I live in zone 6a, Cincinnati, Ohio area of the world. I want to start a 10 feet long bloomstruck hydrangea hedge. I absolutely love the blue bloomstrucks, however, my endless summers turn pink and then deep read. How do you suggest I get that perfect blue bloomstruck hedge? Please list the ingredients I need to be successful. Thanks in advance for your professional suggestions. Look forward to hearing from you soon...
You need to lower your soil pH to make it more acidic. That will turn the flowers blue in a year or so!
