we have a Kousa Dogwood that is growing like a “V”- its been in the yard about 4 years, How do you trim it to get the middle to fill in?

I have 4 dogwoods which appear to be similar. All of them flower after their leaves appear but 2 of the trees have smaller white flowers and smaller leaves. They also grow up right. The other 2 have larger flowers and branches that appear to weep. Is there different types of kousa dogwood?
