I love physics i used a miniture rubber band from my girlfriend that literally cost 1 ct and IT WORKED FINALLY🎉🎉🎉 ty for finally solving it. I bought a small 1 pot can a few days ago and apparently before your fix it never worked so its the first time im able to enjoy mokka :)))

Mate, terrific video and solution for exactly what I was experiencing with my new moka pot. Plainly obvious once understanding the mechanics of the pot and importance of sealing the chamber. Took your advice and immediately solved my problem. I since searched out rubber O-rings as a more robust solution (62mm OD, 59mm ID, 1.5mm Width work perfectly for my 6-cup pot). You saved me a lot of frustration. Cheers.

Thank you so much, have always been able to make a great brew with the 6 cup Moka but had nothing but sputtering with my 12 cup since new. So frustrating when wanting to make coffee for a crowd. This solution is amazing. I’m very grateful to you!

I was experimenting a lot with temperature to finally find a solution and have come to terms with the fact that you have to be chosen by the Bialetti or something like that 😆 ... Alguém sabe q problema pode ser quando a máquina começa secando normal, as roupas estão quase seca, mas aí começa a sair água e molha toda roupa novamente 😢

DICA PRA ARRUMAR ISTO SEM USAR VEDA-ROSCA. Se você reparar, a borda do funil onde coloca o pó de café está mais baixo do que a borda da cadeira onde vai a água, dessa maneira, a borrachinha da cafeteira só vai vedar a caldeira e não o funil onde coloca o pó de café. A dica que eu dou é lixar a borda da caldeira até ficar no mesmo nível da borda do funil, assim a borrachinha da cafeteira vai vedar os dois.

A minha está ficando um pouquinho de água na caldeira, não sobe tudo. E o pó, depois de terminar gruda onde fica o anel, não permanece no funil

Comprei uma cafeteira na itália, na loja oficial da Bialetti e quando cheguei no Brasil percebi que ela veio sem a borracha de vedação. E normal vir sem a borracha?

Guys if you want a permanent fix, you'll need to make sure when you place the funnel in, it has the same height as the top opening of the lower pot, so the gasket can seal them competely. If they are not levelled, you need to level them by rubbing the top opening of the lower pot with sand paper.
