Thank you for posting this! In 1992, I interviewed Dixie at Exotic World for TEASE! magazine. It was truly a pilgrimage for me--I was a modern-day stripper who wanted to drum up publicity for this obscure little museum I had read about museum. It was a wonderful experience! Dixie was so charming and forthcoming, and Jennie Lee's widower Charlie Arroyo was a character. They'd worked their butts off to make that goat ranch a dream destination, and their efforts were a labor of love. Almost 30 years later, I looked for Exotic World on Googlemaps and was crushed that it was gone. I searched to see what happened and found this documentary. What a sweet valentine to Exotic World and the lady who kept it alive for so long! And it's so gratifying to know I wasn't the only one who was moved to beat the drum for Dixie and Jennie.

I love Cassandra’s singing here but why was Charlie Burnham’s incredible violin solo cut from the video version? That’s crazy!

I used to listen to this when I was studying Jazz in college back in the mid nineties. Floored by her uniqueness. I've bought and given away several copies of the Blue Light til Dawn cd this was on. Pleased as shit to have found this video as I still talk about this song and great performances when discussing great music.
