But what do I do if I just bought a new system and cannot get the controller to connect? I just yesterday bought a new ps4 console and obviously it came with a remote, I hooked everything up this morning and I cannot get my remote to connect. Along side this guy I’ve looked up several different videos and there all the same use a usb reset the remote and now this video download an app to help. But I am not logged into this system and cannot get past the connect a controller part 😢 any help, any suggestions?!! Would be greatly appreciated. I’m trying any and everything because I don’t want to be out my money

I think this is the problem I've been having. Mine would sort of halfway sync if I pressed a bunch of buttons really fast, but it was always very glitch and unresponsive. As a result I haven't played my PS4 in almost a year. I tried the phone thing, couldn't get it to work with my phone. I finally broke down and ordered myself another PS4 controller. I think once I'm able to use another controller to "forget" the first one and add it back, it will finally work again. Sucks I had to get another controller.

When I go to access the bluetooth devices the ps4 reports an error that is not in the database and does not enter the part of bluetooth devices I have already recreated database but my control continues to flash the white light and does not recognize the ps4
