Chickens gotta eat and drink. We take you along for the daily stuff on this one. Winter is over! Just ask the wild blackberries. Bunnies are growing, lambs too. We might get distracted with a sweet red treat that tastes like pure summer. We got our Beuagard sweet potatoes in. Thanks for watching! #ConradHomestead #FarmLife #SweetPotato

Last week was the flooring , now for the ceilings. There's plenty of no cost, all-labor-projects for us to do while we wait for the cost of building materials to lower. We discuss the future look of the ceiling and lighting. Should we keep the shiplap look of cover it with drywall? Mr. Budget says "Paint the shiplap!" Stay tuned to see how the project comes along. Thanks! to all of our faithful...

The seeds brought us together 😁 Red Silo Homestead came over to our place to hand deliver seeds for the ShedWars secret seed challenge. Also, Red Silo brought over their entire seed collection and we swapped seeds. A few weeks later we had a chance to visit the Red Silo Homestead. It has been wonderful getting to know Darren and Jestine and spend time with them. Thank you Red Silo Homestead! Pl...
DEMO DAY! CARPET REMOVAL

There's soo much to be done on this old house! But, first we must UNDO. We have been wanting to start this since we purchased the property in Nov. 2019. We have a plan in place and few dollars to get the shell built. The goal for this work was to get the truck filled with trash before we headed into town. #ConradHomestead #DemoDay #HouseRemodel

Mexicans don't use rice cookers. 😊
Yes they do
those leak under pressure
There’s very little pressure less than 5 psi
2:29 That ‘divot’ actually is sized to fit 2” cam-lock fittings. They are pricy (about $17-$20 where I live) but if you need to disassemble your system semi-regularly they are worth it, as you don’t risk stripping out the plastic threads with repeated use. I use them as I have to drain and break down and store my entire setup for winter in Montana.
We drain our systems for 2 months in winter also. I agree that the cam fitting would be best. The idea was to have a solution for all valve types
Just found your channel... Very cool! cheers! I'll be back in slower season to see all you're doing!
Good to see you here. Thanks for the info
Good job, bro! I just got one for Hurricane season. Man they are a life saver!
Yes they are!
You're a lifesaver, thank you very much
Glad it helped!
Good video thank you!
Glad you liked it!
If he didn’t say bless you to that sneeze I was out
Love it
Thank you for sharing your knowledge! I was wondering if you would share how to use the extra post to stabilize the fence posts that sag? Please!
Yes I can
Cheers fellow earthlings
Thanks Howie!
Excellent solution. Thanks!
You're welcome!
I know this is an old video, but install a low profile, coffered ceiling showing the shiplap in the middle of the coffered squares
I like the idea
BEST VIDEO EVER!! THANK YOU!! ❤❤
You are welcome!
Was it really that good? I may have to go back and give it another view. Thanks for the comment.
This is what I am looking for. You solved my problem. Thank you so much!
Great to hear!
Glad it helped!
I've been told that those tiles were constructed using asbestos, this right?
I’m not sure. But thanks for the information. I will look into it.
How high up would you mount the base of that tank for good water flow on a kitchen sink setup? Great video!
Not sure
Any side effects from the asbestos yet?
None know. Thanks for your concern.
PPE!!!!!!
What happened to Y'all. Found you with the tiled ceiling video & noticed no uploads for 2 years?🤔❤
That looks like asbestos ceiling tile.
Could have been. I didn’t keep any samples. Thanks
I don’t know if you know this, but you need to cover that IBC tote in six mill black plastic are you gonna start growing algae in it?
We have not had any problems with algae yet, for three years. But we do drain them completely about once a month. Thanks for the comment 😁👍
I store my rain water I collected for 2 plus years .. clean as the day it went in .. no poison to keep it clear .
Just made this for my boyfriend lol hope he likes it
Me too 😁
Whoa that's a lot of potatoes 🥔
Agreed! Thanks for the comment!
I don't like Mexican rice but my husband loves it, I made this recipe a few weeks ago and it was amazing. Will make it again today, I used the tomatoe bouillon powder, it really adds flavor, infact I've used it in several dishes I make and it adds so much to the recipes.
Great to hear! I agree with using the tomato bullion. It kicks it up a notch. Thanks for the comment.
Thank you Conrad (from New Zealand). That's exactly what I needed to know :)
Glad it was helpful!

THANKS THIS VIDEO HELPED ME OUT ALOT
I’m glad to hear that. Thanks for the feedback
I have the same ceiling in my dining room which is dropped down lower then my kitchen and living room. I am hoping it’s a drop ceiling but I won’t know until I remove on of the tiles
Best of luck to you!
Thank you so much I need to be certain for a fitted kitchen, with very out of plumb walls . To be able to double check, laser lines is fantastic
Glad to hear that it worked out for you
I didn't even think about that rubber adapter and the low pressure. Great idea!
Thanks soo much! Godspeed to you
I wish I could like this video twice. Short, clear and concise. Thank you!!
You’re too kind! Thanks
You should relabel this video "how not to remove Asbestos tiles". Holy smokes, you guys are destined for Asbestosis and Mesothelioma.
What makes you think they may be asbestos?
I grew up with my grandfather showing me how to do everything. Unfortunately PPE and staying safe wasn’t something he knew about, and thus it never transferred to me. Knowing all the nasty stuff, I hope you will break the trend with your kids and teach them how important it is. I would give anything to have extra time with my grandpop as he was taken far too early. I just had an asbestos company come in and test a few samples of my basement mortar which has been getting lose and leaves a sand on the ground. Even if not, breathing dust isn’t good for you. This is coming from someone who didn’t use PPE for many years of my life until I recently started learning about it all. Please stay safe and break the trend for your kids. It’s not fun being anxious later in life and wishing you could have done things differently. Wishing you all the best.
You should have had them tested. A lot of them were
