Capsule Hotel in Kuala Lumpur: A Review of The Bed KLCC
Last time I was in Kuala Lumpur, I spent a few nights a nice capsule hotel called the bed KLCC.
If you're rolling solo and want a clean, affordable place to stay near the Petronas towers, this is a solid option.
I didn't realize it at the time, but you also have the option of using the gym in the tower where the hostel is situated. The building is called Vortex, and for 20 ringgit, you can access the gym and the pool.

Capsule Hotel in Shinjuku Tokyo: A Review Of Anshin Oyado
มุมมอง 3182 หลายเดือนก่อน
I was recently in Shinjuku for a few nights and stayed at the Anshin Oyado capsule hotel. When I was there, I kept thinking about how dialed in everything was, then I realized that the Japanese people are the originators of the "capsule hotel" concept, and it really shows. In this video, I take you on a little tour of the facility. If you're planning a solo trip to Japan and don't want to blow ...
Wondering into Kabukicho: Tokyo's Yakuza and Red Light Zone
มุมมอง 3422 หลายเดือนก่อน
Went out for a walk and ended up in an area called Kabukicho, which is located in the Shinjuku district of Tokyo. I looked it up and this is considered to be the "red light" zone, which apparently has many establishments run by the Yakuza. I felt safe to me, but based on crime stats, it's higher risk that other areas so make sure not to follow the touts and go into shady bars that may rip you o...
St Regis Hotel in Bangkok: A Tour and a Review

I recently had the chance to stay at the St. Regis hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. It's a high end hotel, with a price point to match.. but is it worth it? In this video, I showcase both the room and some of the facilities so you can decide for yourself. The breakfast in my opinion, was worth the additional change. However, the food at some of the restaurants was comically overpriced. I didn't ment...

In my most recent trip to Kuala Lumpur, stayed in several hotels. One was a terrible experience, and a few of the others were quite good. What is Songkran like in Pattaya, Thailand? Footage from the 2024 celebrations 🔥
มุมมอง 243 หลายเดือนก่อน
Songkran is an annual celebration of the Thai new year. As you can see from the video, it's celebrated with a huge water fight and a lot of drinking/dancing. In Pattaya, it seems to last for longer than many of the other regions throughout the country. There's a province specific extension to it, and in total it lasts for approximately a week. I have lived in Pattaya for the past 8 years and formerly holidayed in Phuket since 2007, I agree with most of your comments, I think there is far far more to do in Pattaya, even for families, Pattaya is far cheaper, lots less scammers than phuket and a better range of nightlife. I don't think you mentioned Jomtien beach, it's nicer than Pattaya and more suitable for families. Accomadation is also much cheaper Pattaya area. There is much better nightlife areas in Pattaya, than walking at.
