Park Day : First Roll In No Coping
Hey guys, I want to start back on the shorts series, I think next will be backside 180's, but I keep beating myself up. Gonna have a few rest days and see how my leg feels then I will be right on those bs 180's. Thank you all for watching.

Sorry this ones a bit long. In the future if I do longer videos I'll try to keep them 7-8 minutes long After reviewing the bowl drop ins I'm pretty sure my front foot was too far forward and thats what was causing my nose to dip and pitch me forward. I'll get it next time.

Sweet session! Making all kinds of park/transition progress, that bowl is perfect for getting comfortable with transition. Love that you have a few roll ins and no coping sections too, those will help a lot. Hopefully those couple falls didn't bang you up too bad. Bro, you are progressing nicely. Drop ins are looking smooth, and the roll ins too. I'm sure you saw it in the footage when you were putting this video together, but I will say it anyway; the falls were a result of you standing up when you should have bent down and leaned forward. It's easy to freeze up when trying something new. It happens to me all the time. Usually, when I fall it's because I'm standing up with my arms up in the air. I have no doubt, you will ride it out next try 😎 and I hope you share it in a video.

Sweet deal man!!! You got a base down for drop ins!!! The bowl transition seems to be a short radius or tighter radius so this will cause you to pitch forward unlike the first ramp you dropped in on which had a bigger radius. Dont stomp the front foot down or lean forward on the tight transitions, tip yourself into the ramp. The tipping motion will give you that glide down the wall. Big props though, that is a pretty tight transition you tried out 🙌

@@beatles42ohgg94 I can switch tic tac, maybe I can warm up with those first. Also with the new deck my wheelbase is shorter, which I like, I just have to get use to it and make some adjustments. So are you saying land fakie, or switch?

@@ChongcoSk88 you want to land switch. after you get used to 180s, dont be afraid of your front/dominant foot, to sit on the nose when you ollie. sure, its ideal for your 180 to land flat. but, vast majority of skaters the nose of the board lands first (which becomes the switch tail) and we are really only doing a 90 ollie to a 90 pivot. some people dont agree with that logic, but it really helps with shuv it tricks. i can fakie shuv it, big spin, bigger spin, biggest spin, and god spin. and i dont care what anybody says, this is because we are thinking on 90, not 180. its 90+90 not a 180? sure, some people do a full 180 with all 4 wheels hitting the ground at once. but, realistically even just for a moment, the back wheels land first.

@@beatles42ohgg94 Thank you for being specific on which foot. Thats what was confusing me. 90 to 90 or a full 180 I'll take what I can get now. I like how both of them look either way. I feel I must be landing fakie (when I land) Thats something I'll have to work on. Thanks for all the advice.🙏🏼

@@simonvidetta1976 Most stuff felt too big for me. It's driving me to want to progress more at transition though. The concrete felt a lot better than the metal ramps too. I just wish it had some ledges or rails on flat. Fun little park though. 🙏🏼

Nice. My first go at the park was mostly banks. Going up and then fakie down. There are 3 sets so I spent at least 20mins just going over all 3 in a line to get used to the feeling. No video though I did get video of yesterday, my second time. I worked on kickturns, carving, and roll ins. It was a really productive session
