I like to make videos about cats, birds, timelapses, airplanes, sky, planets and microcontroller projects. I also like to make timers in all kinds of form. 15 Minutes Colourful PIXEL Falling Countdown Timer

Til now I made countdown timers in which the sand falling effect is outside the digits. Now I tried something else. 🤔 I made the grains a bit bigger to look like pixels and instead falling around the numbers, they fill them out while the counter is running. This video is a 2 minutes neon timer. I drew this one also in Gimp and to get the neon effect I made two layers. One is in front with a light colour with sharp edges. The second layer is in the back, has a dark colour and a blurry appearance. These two combined achives the neon look. This timer is made with own written software and then captured with SimpleScreenRecorder. The video is a remake of the old 100 seconds countdown, but with a new design, where I enlarged the numbers to fill out the whole screen. Timer starts at 0:03.
