Ford F350 replacing pinion seal and changing rear differential fluid on an sterling 10.25
มุมมอง 3.3Kปีที่แล้ว
So my pinion seal was leaking and there is no telling the last time this rear end was checked let alone serviced. The plug was frozen in place so I had to heat it to get it out. I also made a mistake not chocking the wheels so when I took the drive shaft loose the truck started to roll. When I drained the diff oil it was indeed very low. I think it only had a 1/3 of what its supposed to have in...

How to change transmission filter 1986 - 1991 Cadillac Seville Eldorado Rivierra Reatta
Know it’s been a while since this was uploaded, but I had the same issue where the temp gauge was pegged cold, ended up being that the thermostat was stuck open. Replaced it and the needle finally moved
Thank you. I got a deville 86 and is slowly leaking. Watching this video gave me confidence
You're very welcome! Thanks for watching
Thank you!! This video really helped and very detailed! Thanks for showing the entire process👍
You're very welcome i appreciate you for watching
I love your DIY attitude but your process is completely wrong. Just saying.
It's not wrong idiot...... you clearly didn't listen to anything i said. Don't be passive aggressive it only makes you look like a misogynistic asswipe
VERY helpful, thank you!
Been looking This is the only video that would work for me 😊 Thanks
GREAT JOB........
I WATCHED FOR 1 MIN. AND GOT DIZZY!!! 👎🏼 ALSO WHI IS SHE TALKING TO??
Do you have part numbers for front shock/strut assembly and rear? Having trouble finding some for 89 Seville
Would this be the same way for a 2006 sts v8 ?
You shouldn’t cook in galvanized steel. Thanks for the video. I have the lower one and used the flat cider blocks to cover the bottom vents that I put in all 3 sides and covered the top ones to use as counter space around the grill.
Show the spring part?
It's always a honor and pleasure to see a woman do this kind of work...Great job...ty for sharing...)
thanks, online instructions are wrong
Very helpful. Thank you!!!
I was just about to order a new fob after falling to program it the 8 times key on off way but luckily I found your video, tried it and it worked. Thanks for posting cheers
That works. Im doing the fenders on a 81 stepside. I thought the same of shoring it up first. My thought was plywood and dry wall screws, insted of clamps and tape. Ive already got holes to fill, whats a couple more. Thanks for posting your video.👍
Good job. Thanks for the video.I have to change both sensors on my hobby DHS.
Thanks for the help!
Did you have a rough idle as if it seems like a vacuum leak?
What size drill bit are you using?
Good job
Did you use a torque wrench? I think they say 12ft pounds?
My amp turns on when I open driver or passenger door. Turns off after a few seconds but will turn on again after closing, then turns back off. Did everything you did
Coming in clutch again! I love your videos. Thanks!
Solid video, appreciate ya!
Get it girl. Nice work. Next time try reinforcing the back with fiber cloth piece. It require more work but it will be stronger and only adds like 1-2pounds to the fender
I'm not done fixing these as i stated this is simply stabilizing them before i remove them at that point definitely in going to put fiberglass on the back. I didn't just take this off because it would have fallen to pieces and I'm not fiberglassing over dirt it won't stick. The inside of these fenders are filthy
If i remove the oil filler without draining the oil pan first, oil doesn't flow out? So i can change oil filler out changing the oil? Thank you. ❤03 Deville.
Great video. I used this to do the same job on my 2003 Olds Aurora with a 4.0 V8 Northstar.
Aloha Deva, Did you get a chance to change your oil pan gasket yet ?
Love your detailed steps. Much needed!
You go, girl, my fricking hands are too dam big for that. Same codes faulting on my 03 STS 😢
Right to the point. Thank you. I just got new remotes for my '96 F350 and I need to program them. edit: Just followed these instructions and they worked like a charm.
This African queen changing trans filters omg 👀👀. Where u at
I'm getting ready to do this. Wish you lived nearby.
GURL, you have earned my R E S P E C T. in the Army, we have mastered the art of Adapt and Overcome. you have clearly done that. HOOAH!!! im a senior mechanic at my shop in Asheville. i wish i could have been there to help ya. you are better than most guys i know to tackle a job like that. you go gurl. i admire your effort. that is what makes America great...the spirit innovation and ingenuity. i take it back, that is what makes people and the world great. thank you for sharing your experience. ciao. AIRBORNE!!!!
Stay tuned i need to edit and upload the rest of fixing these fenders thanks so much for the kind words and thank you for your service!
Get straight to the point
I just did my 2002 Ford F350. Make sure you put that nut back in the same place, it holds the pinion gear in place. Too tight or too loose can cause damages. Put it back on the same way it came off. Mark it, count the treads or count the turns to remove it. Also a put a drop of blue lock tight on that nut before installing. Taking pictures of every step is a great visual aid, especially the placement of that nut.
What an amazing tutorial! Is it possible to have the “parking lights” come on when the doors are unlocked? The way some modern cars do it. That when you unlock it, the amber front lights and the rear lights turn on to create a small ambient light. Is that something that can be done?
Ok you just got a subscriber on all channels. You did that.
I don't trust those kits. Those kits are soft like springs and there's a reason y the factory gm drilled wholes and used thread taps or something made threads with heli. I prefer to do the factory way recreate new threads and install new bolt which worked out for me
It's just a transmission pan. The factory torque setting is 14 ft lbs that's nothing. I'm not trying to hold a head down on a race motor. These are way tougher than a spring i don't care what they look like. Try drilling one out and see how many drill bits you go through. People who build race motors use these when needed. However do what works for you. This is a ford not gm.
@devajonesdiy for me those those kits are springs it feel like there gonna get loose. I prefer doing the way the factory did it if there's room on the edge of the pan
Thank you 👍🏻🙏🏻
You're welcome
Great video thanks
You're welcome
All i can find are hub keys that seem universal. Is that possible? My key is missing for my 89 sedan deville and ive got a flat.
Look on ebay or go on the Cadillac forum those are the easiest way to find a key
Great video, thank you
You're welcome
Your very informative but I’m wondering are the two sensors the same or two different kinds of sensors I can only find the black one for my 2005 Cadillac srx 4.6 northstar v8 and not the grey one that is above it?
That's a good question I'm not completely sure
Awesome video! Thanks for the help. I've got an 85 Seville Elegante Edition and I'm looking to freshen up the wheels and tires soon!
What year truck is this? I have a '95 and have been wanting to put in the module for the keyless entry. But I realize that my truck doesn't have those plugs.
1995
Hell Yeah!!! Two days I've been wasting my time with worthless videos. Thank You man!!!
You're welcome
I'm wondering how this held up after 4 yrs?
Still great i use it all the time no issues. I broke 1 block but that was completely my fault i was clumsy and knocked it off the top row it hit the ground and broke. They don't make cinder blocks the way they used to
@@devajonesdiy I saw it in use with the gumbo z’herbes vid so I figured it held up, thanks.
