25 Min Full Body Dumbbell Workout at Home | Build Strength, Burn Calories

Hey everyone, Cory here with Ferris Fitness! In today's workout, we’re going to be hitting every major muscle group with a full-body routine that only requires a set of dumbbells and some space. Whether you’re looking to build strength, improve conditioning, or just stay active, this workout will get you sweating and feeling stronger!
We’ll kick things off with a squat curl to press, targeting your legs, biceps, and shoulders. Remember to keep your core tight and focus on proper form to protect your back. Next, we’ll move into a renegade row, strengthening your back and core, followed by a dumbbell thruster to work your legs and shoulders simultaneously.
Then, we’ll hit a dumbbell alternating lunge to challenge your legs and stability, before moving to dumbbell deadlifts to focus on hamstrings and glutes. We’ll finish this circuit with a push-up to side plank for core strength and a sumo squat to upright row to target your inner thighs and shoulders.
For the final round, we’ll incorporate hex press to skull crushers for the chest and triceps, followed by a dumbbell drag through to engage your core. We’ll wrap things up with a front raise to lateral raise combo for your shoulders.

Changing an shoulder press to a chest press
Good morning Jonathon. Incline Chest Presses are best performed on a 30-45 degree angle bench. This is a 60 Degree bench. By dropping the bench back you will find much better support for your lower back, and in turn be able to press with more intention on the target muscles. IF, I was performing a 60 degree angle incline press (Which I would not) the dumbbells would be placed over the upper chest musculature, and not the shoulders. Try it before you knock it. You will like the angle and grow better shoulders.

Hey Jeff! Although, you CAN do an Incline Dumbbell Press at a 60 Degree angle, they are far more effective at a 30-45 degree angle which allows you to take out more of the shoulders and focus on the prime mover, being the upper chest. Give this a try for your shoulders. You'll find you're far more supported by the bench than the traditional 90 degree set up, and you'll be able to press much more.

Great question George. By placing the bench at a 60 Degree angle, it will better support your back. If you've tried a overhead press on the traditional 90 Degree angle bench, you'll notice that your body will want to slide forward naturally. When you angle the bench like this, and pull the elbows in, it will place far more stress on your shoulders, allow you to lift heavier, while not having to focus on bracing your core to go overhead. Give it a shot and let us know what you think!
