1. There is a larger size. I bought both. 2. if your handheld torch goes hour while being held upside down or at an angle you’ve got a cheap torch. Buy a decent burzomatic torch and you won’t have that problem. 3. A Large rosebud torch attached to a 20# tank is a lot faster. 4. you can also fill smaller cracks with this stuff by holding it over the crack and dripping the rubber into it.
wow ! Thank you so much all my door knobs are falling off and I have tried putting them on again and go to grab knob and there it comes off again .I'am a widow husband passed away 4 yrs ago from cancer .I'm am going to try this wish me luck.God Bless
mine doors don't have the long plate they might have ha them before can I still use this ? I wish I could send you a pic
Oh I’m so sorry for your loss. You’ve got this though!
Thank you very much. Great teaching
Thank you!!
I replaced the battery, but now it won’t charge. It had ~65% when I restarted the laptop, so the computer is accessing the batt. I restarted the SMC and PRAM, but it hasn’t helped. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
What did you do about the burning marks on the asphalt?
👍Thank you! This is one of the easiest to follow instruction videos I've watched. This will definitely save me lots of $$$. Before i change the battery on my old macair, I'll be looking for your instructions on how and where to save all my files so they don't get deleted.
So glad it helped!
Thank you for your video it worked perfectly 🎉
Awesome. How much to build me one of these? ^^
Thank You!
good job, but you will find that square pop-in metal box or square metal box with bracket. keep up
Helpful!
Thanks!!
How did this last over the winter?
Still holding strong!
I think its way too expensive for the light kits :/
This was my first time so didn’t have a gauge but yes it was a bit on the pricy side for sure.
Very cool looking, I got the Fleet Trooper helmet from them, it is very cool looking as well. I am currently working on my 181st outfit next will be crosshair. I am with the Outer Rim Garrison in B.C. Canada myself.
Nice!! Just wrapping up the final season of bad batch here. Crosshair is great! Thanks for the note and hello from the Northeast Remnant Garrison in New Jersey!
@@MADEbyAP I was very impressed with the final bad batch season. I need to watch your vid on how to do a helmet on a small printer still, that is of course once I figure out how to use mine. I have a Creality Ender-3 Pro.
Thanks
No check valve
Very helpful video you made, I just have a question: I don't want to pull the entire dishwasher if it is not necessary, so I pulled my float switch, cleaned up and checked with the multimeter. Initially showed 0,89 or around that number and I was very kind of happy that float switch was the issue, but after shaking it well and getting it cleaned with grease remover now it is reading around 13,5. I tested (acting as if it is in the dishwasher being exposed to the water temperature) by inserting into hot water numbers started dropping and putted into refrigerator to see if number comes back up so it did. Do you think or others who has some knowledge about it my rigorous cleaning did the job or initial reading (0.89) was incorrect and float switch is fine and need to check heating element? So making it short can dirt build up cause for it to malfunction? Thank you in advance to any response.
Mine came with a black and blue wire. Does the blue double as a black wire?
I hate gold🤢🤮 but i like the new one
Yeah nickel all the way!
Oh ok
Funny when the knob fell😂
great video. QUESTION: I am curious though, to know an update on this new battery installation and its lifespan specifically, does it hold its charge and has it lasted more than 2 months? all the reviews I'm doing, unfortunately points to this specific battery not lasting more than 5 months most saying 2 months. thanks for reading my comment
Hey there! As of this moment it’s still working like a champ! My wife hasn’t had any issues with the new battery at all.
going to replace my battery very soon and i was wondering if anybody has any strong feelings on doing a backup beforehand? asking because i dont have the means for one so that's out of the equasion for me and i wanted some peace of mind
I would do a backup. Can you at least back up to something like Google drive or something? Just because you never know what will happen.
Thanks. This did the trick!
Nice!!
Has anyone encounter a sudden dead battery rather than slowly diminishing storage time??
That I have not but maybe someone else will chime in!
@@MADEbyAP Hey, forgot to thank you for the Tute 😁👍🏻
Thanks!!
nice job
Thank you!!
Love your work and your videos are clear and concise. ❤💯 P.S. However l hate the pilot perhaps some may want to research a more accurate figure.
Thanks! I appreciate the note. Yeah the pilot isn’t my favorite. I may upgrade down the line.
I replaced the battery for my macbook air the same model and everything but when I was done it just didn't turn on the charger didn't even turn orange or anything (it did before) can someone help me :(((
Oh no! Was it charging and turning on prior to the battery replacement? If not and the battery didn’t work it may be a bigger issue like the mother board or something (which is beyond my ability)
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video, I’ve watched several today, and no one else showed how to test the old part- I really appreciate the time you took for this detailed video, curious if you can tell me where you found the information to know which pins to test and what the values should be? I am a maintenance supervisor for an apartment community and I always want to test parts instead of just replacing them when possible, definitely going to subscribe to your channel, have a great day 😎
Thanks for the comment and glad you found this helpful!! Appreciate the subscribe.
THANK YOU! Mine wasn't heating and I watched a bunch of videos. I was confident I would know how to at least test the heating element, but, I wasn't 100% sure where to go next if that wasn't the issue. Turns out, my heating element was indeed fine and it was the flood switch. Even after cleaning it out, which improved the resistance, it still wasn't enough and I opted for a new part. I went with actual GE part and it was more expensive but worth it for that peace of mind. I just have completed my first cycle with my washer getting hot and cleaning things again. Your video helped lead me to the flood switch and identify that as the issue. THANK YOU!
You’re welcome!! Glad you were able to do it yourself! Woo!!
So the one thing I have to ask, is essentially could you use zip ties to attach an Alice frame? Reason I asked this is because I use hasbro pack. But my partner usually uses one of my 80% spirit packs and there were a little grooves in there. I was able to zip tie to it to an Alice frame. So are there grooves where I would be able to do that with this, from the view of the back of the, I would say you technically could
Hi! I don’t have the pack anymore since it was for a friend so I’m answering based off memory. You technically could do that because the pack is super super light. The only concern I would have is the mother board is a really flimsy board so depending on how much abuse it gets the zip ties may actually break through. Again that’s just going off memory. I feel like I’ve seen people use zip ties for these in the past I just can’t find any sources at the moment. Sorry I can’t be more helpful here!
Can you put the glass back in?
I wouldn’t. It’ll make the frames a bit heavy. You could probably use plexiglass though.
I've got one thing to say: 🤣
Should of played into the fire by Dokken
Yes!!!
Great vid did have to go deep sea diving tho
Haha thanks!
Wouldn't ABS be a better choice instead of PETG?
Good question! I based my decision off of a) I find PETG way easier to print than ABS (that's me, others will disagree), and b) it's pretty durable outside. Check this out for the differences, however as long as it's not PLA I think you'll be fine, it never gets over 180 degrees here in the northeast haha. www.flashforgeshop.com/article/PLA-vs-ABS-vs-PETG-Which-filament-is-best-for-outdoor-use
Thank you 😊
124EIGHTB - tub 12TWO4- sink You're leaving some numbers off there, bud.
Thank you for your video. I replaced my pump by myself & saved myself some $. 😊
Aww yeah!!
Thankyou good sir.. New battery in the mail. My knowledge has grown today, because of you. Keep up the DIY 😊
Yay! So glad. And thank you!!
You are my hero 😂
Haha thanks!
The link took me to the different package colors which cost $49. But I found the same one for $39. I have no idea how different.
Oh interesting. As long as it’s for your model it should be fine and the same process to replace.
Got it. Thank you so much!
Great video, thanks!
Thanks for the note!!
I fixed my error 26 by taking a shopvac to the filter, which cleans any clog/dust between the slits of the filter. Good luck
Good tip. This is certainly a “when all else fails” situation, which it was for me.
Of course you can use. Just use torque limiting and there will be no problem at all.
Thank you so much
Glad you found it helpful!
What size U nuts did you go with? I have the 1” L brackets but want to make sure I have the right sized ones that you had :) thanks!
Oops! These are the ones I bought! Thanks! amzn.to/4b3NdEz
The one thing I'd recommend doing above all else that you haven't done is replace the stock ribbon cable. Even weathered it just SCREAMS "I am a toy" The GB2 spectra strip cable can be had pretty cheaply. The GB1/Afterlife/Frozen Empire ribbon is a custom job and people do make them but they're pricer. But it's such a huge detail that makes all the difference, that is easy to swap out. Or add a 3d printed speaker hole cover.
Nice reco! Will look into that. The ribbon is super bright and plasticy for sure. Thanks!
@@MADEbyAP It really stands out and draws your eye too because it's one of the few points of color on the pack. GBFans has the GB2 spectra-strip in stock for $15 right now. There's a few people who sell it on etsy but they charge more. It was still being made as of a few years ago, but I think it is now out of production. No one's every really identified the GB1 cable, It very well may have been custom made for the movie. Or from something obscure. Either way ones on Etsy range from 50 to 80 dollars when they are available because they have to be made by hand. The one thing I REALLY wish hasbro would have done with the haslab packs is get the ribbon cable right. Mainly because it's the one part on the entire pack that's hard to find a suitable replacement for.
So I just got mine. I was going to build a Q pack, but decided I liked the idea of the pack being lighter and “done” for Halloween. That being said, I plan to do quite a few mods including 3D printed parts upgrades, tubing upgrades, and lashing up a 3D printed wand to it with arduino based electronics in the pack to replace the basic stock stuff. Evenything I’m planning on doing will be reversible.
Niiice! Yes this pack is super light. Sounds like you have some awesome things to work on!!
Thanks for taking time to do this. As fate would have it my problem was the float switch.
Glad to help!!
Nice helpful video which I used to replace my wife's battery (actually her 2013 Macbook Air's battery). A bunch of whiners in the comments below criticized you for spending too much time on style and not enough on substance. Sure, you could have done this in 5 minutes, but you took the time to make it enjoyable. Your photography and instructions are great. You also show great class in how you responded to the few really harsh comments with humor and lightness. And just scroll down the comments section to tally up how many thousands of dollars you saved your viewers. Well done!
Hey there thank you so much for this. It made my day. Sincerely. Glad you found it helpful (and enjoyable!).
A clean crack is essential….
🤣
Hello from George in Australia. Saying hello and see what's new. I've subscribed for your site finally. Anyway hope your well and building some exciting Star Wars studio model. I'm still hesitating to buy the 1/32 AMT Tie Fighter. I checked my local Hobby Shop they have one but it might be gone by now while I'm speaking to you. Well it's also to do financially not the best and also sidetracked buying something else. Still hoping. At least for the time being I have the Bandai kits I suppose. Wish you well.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️
Hi George! Thanks for the note and subscribe! Still chipping away at a few things here. Hopefully will upload some videos in the next several weeks. How are the Bandai kits going?? Have you checked out the other Round2 models? They have the Slave 1 which looks great as well as I think a Falcon reissue. Not sure the price points and they aren’t studio scale but they are still great looking kits. Thanks again for the note and glad you’re doing well!!
@@MADEbyAPHello from George. Good to hear from you. Unfortunately I haven't built any of those Bandai kits. I'm still dordeling with the large-scale snap together X-Wing Fighter. I have seen the round two models. They are great. I have a millenium Falcon I had from 1981. It's still with me but very poor condition. Every delicate parts have broken and lost over those many years. I did have that same Slave 1 but ended up busted. I have to buy those again and the Falcon is nice I'm glad they up dated the parts. The Falcon is AU$135.00+ but varies from different sellers the Slave 1 AU $78- 80.00. The slave 1 I have in the 1/144 scale. It's small but very detailed. Other Bandai collections I have 2 C3-PO 2 of the R2-D2 units, 5 ATST Walkers, 3 Biker Scouts, 6 Y- wings, 4 X-Wings, 3 Tie Fighters , Darth Vader a Interceptor all in 1/72 scale. I did buy the round two Vader's Tie Interceptor. That's nice. Of course who can do without the Snow Speeders and Imperial Walkers. I have four different sizes of that. Other 4 Stormtroopers, Darth Vader, Boba Fett and I have a Sand Trooper on the way from Japan. I did bid on a pre-built Sand Trooper from a sellers collection but I need to fix it and som parts are missing but are easy to replace. I've got lots of projects but I'm going from one model to another and not finishing anything yet. I'll have to catch up on your videos. So far I've seen the X-Wing and the Tie Fighter. I still need to see the Tentative 2? I forgot the mark. Anyway wish you well have fun with that great collection. From George down under.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️
@George-pp2hr wow! Yes you’ve got quieter the collection too! Enjoy my friend. Enjoy.
@@MADEbyAP Hello. How are you. Yes I have collected lots and there's a lot more models other than Star Wars as in Aircraft and other sorts. I wish I can send pictures but I don't know exactly how. It's a mess anyway.I m not fully familiar with all of TH-cam. Yet. Be well have fun. 👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️
