The best thing about Hero Quest is the Dragon

The furniture should have been 3D cardboard. I even believe that was a miss step of the kickstarter version. Full color 3D cardboard just had a greater impact in creating the setting in the 90’s version than the arguably better quality unpainted full plastic of the KS version.

We added seasons into our last SMP modpack, they were damn useless and quickly became nothing but slightly annoying because you couldn't have any water features as those would just freeze over in the winter which was really really annoying. Seasons are very overrated and pretty useless, no seasons really is the way to play minecraft. The only good thing was that it was able to snow anywhere sometimes but I could do without the freezing water.

tbh the thing i don’t like about mc seasons (from mods) is how snow is handled. basically snow in areas you aren’t near doesn’t accumulate or melt. it can lead to weird situations like finding a completely blanketed forest in the middle of summer

I don't know if it's Mandela effect but I remember some biomes alternating between Summer and Winter (with snowfall) on Pocket Edition.

I would love to see seasons, not every biome needs them but plains and such would be amazing.

I don't think I ever consciously noticed that Minecraft didn't have seasons (probably due to the weather cycle and biome system), but that's a really interesting concept!! It's probably for the best they didn't considering the largely young audience who might find it overly complicated but I'm glad there's mods for that cause that's a really neat concept
