Philly area here! I’m not sure about circle thrift but there is an anthro/free people overstock store at Franklin Mills called Reclectic. I haven’t thought about going there for resale items but maybe I should! Love your videos. I learn something every time and they get me excited to head out sourcing. I’m curious where the bins are around here that your mom goes too. They got rid of the ones here in Montco County last year. …according to google the closest ones to me are in Reading.

I sure wish there were Goodwill bins close to me to get those good deals. The closest to me is 3 hours away so it's hard to identify with you on bins but I really enjoy your knowledge of styles and fabrics. A forever trends would be great also.

Yep on the hot water bottle. Also grew up in a drafty old farmhouse with no insulation upstairs where my room was. The OTHER crazy thing we used is my dad would heat up bricks on top of the wood burning stove, wrap those in a towel and stick them in the bed to warm up. I loved it. To this day I have to have a cold room to sleep.. I heard it's better for you? but my bed has to be warm and cozy. :)

I use hot water bottle for stomach and back/neck muscle pain. It is very effective. Painkillers don't really work for stomach pain. I have several of them because my kids also use it for their stomach pain

The Boden dress - I'm on the cusp of being petite or regular. Sometimes it's the waist and body that are shorter and that's what defines it. Make sure the measurements include shoulder to waist. (I have longer legs for my height so I can do petite dresses.)

A couple of days ago in my favorite honey hole way far away from where I live in one trip at one Christian thrift store I found a vintage Balmain men’s trenchcoat and a vintage Christian Dior trenchcoat. The Balmain was wool.

Adide from the fact I already know what a lovely, generous person you are, the fact that you buy random fun things for your friends says it all. Most people are pushy, grabbing everything, stealing from others carts, generally being awful. Then there's you finding thoughtful gifts for friends. And yes, we used hot water bottles, especially for stomach aches. We also used old style ice bags/packs with the screw on tops. Keep in mind I'm older than dirt so there wasnt anyrhing else until heating pads were made more affordable.

Hot water bottles are so much safer than electric heating pads for overnight use.

I used to pick up odd vintage like that golf top but it seems that I do not know what vintage appeals to buyers, so I have cut back. I do need to check out your bins next time I'm in LA. Last time I did Panorama City and while it was very chill, it was not impressive at all. Bummer the price went up , ours did too. It does slow my purchasing down because I tend to favor heavy items, like boots and leather jackets. So a pair of heavy leather boots could be $10, though sometimes they'll cut a break and give a unit price. Is Clare V related to Roger Vivier? Wow congrats on that Chanel bag!
