Yea, this is good. Random or Sample and Hold can be good for adding some variety as well. Combined with motion recording, like toggling an IFX so it only happens at certain places.

Cool stuff. Have you tried the Hacktribe update? I just did it and it's pretty damn interesting but I had to work to get my old beats back 'cause the sample were in different places..

Excellent tips. I use the delay quiet a lot, usually I forget the filter and the mfx but I'm eager to try your mfx on the kaoss pad. The pad is the main reason I use the E2's as my main composition tools.

one thing that always got me about the electribe 2 is it sounds damp...i have mine connected to an MC101 which is crisp and clear and also to the old EMX1 which is also pretty clear....am i doing something wrong or do i need its sound to go through a pedal or something to lift it

I was thinking about the different topics you might be able to talk about : bass set up and way to optimise frequencies - low and high pass filters - oscillators in general (basics stuffs) - pads ambients - maybe also stuff about percs like amen breaks or glitchy stuffs like this ? In any case I know it will be interesting ! Can’t wait to see the next one !
