Loved it can we get a more detailed explanation on the picking pattern in the verses
Thanks for watching and for your comment - I appreciate it. I'll see what I can do. Thanks, again.
Thank you so much Barry, + 1 sub❤ My crush asked me to play this song for her when we meet for the 2nd time again soon. I will be playing on my guitar together with a harmonica in my mouth (for the lyrics melody) because I cannot sing a note. 😄, wish me luck!😁
Wow! I love it! 🙏🏼

Thank you for checking out the video. Glad you enjoyed it.
Always loved this song. Very nice interpretation, and clearly explained as well!
Thank you and thanks for watching - I appreciate it.
Stumbled on your 'Walking man' video while watching TH-cam on TV. Found so much in it I had to keep stopping and trying things on my guitar. Subscribed to your channel and had to jump on laptop to say thank you for the generous sharing of your knowledge. The thing that interested me the most is trying a couple of your chord voicings and immediately taking them to new song ideas. In fact it took me a while to recognise the 'Walking man' song. Would love to hear a full performance of it or does that raise copywrite issues? Definitely looking forward to exploring your channel.
Quite an encouraging comment...thanks for taking the time to share it. I do appreciate it. I'll put a "Walking Man" performance on my "requests" list. Right now, it's seventh on the list so it may take me some time before I get it done. However, as with all my requests, I notify the one who made the request via' comments such as this as to when I will post the tutorial or performance. If you'll hang in there, all things being equal, I will get to it. Thanks, again, for your kind comment.
Hey Barry , nice demonstrations. Could you do the whole of Dust in the Wind ; also how are you with Gordon Lightfoot picking patterns- for instance - Sit Down Young Stranger - ?
Thank you for watching - much appreciated. Okay, I'll put "Dust In The WInd" on the list of future tutorials. Honestly, it is now the fifth on a list of requests so it will be a little bit before I can get to it...but I will. Thanks for the request. As far as Gordon Lightfoot, I'd be happy to put that down as a request (#6 on the list). I don't know the tune but I'm willing to figure it out and teach it. Thanks for that request, too.
Brilliant
Thank you for watching and for your comment. Much appreciated.
👌👍
Thank you.
Nice lesson. Can you mention what model Taylor this is, it sounds great TY
Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate it. It is a Taylor GS-Mine eKoa. I can certainly recommend it.
Avoid this tutorial if you are a beginner.
Thank you for watching. This video is intended for beginner to intermediate. I'm sorry if you didn't find it helpful but thanks for watching - I do appreciate that.
Great video. Really helpful to me as a beginner! Yep, I’d love a full video on Fire & Rain
Thanks so much. Okay, it's on the list. FYI, there are about four previous requests I'm working on so it may be a bit but I'll get it done and post as soon as I can. Thanks, again.
That's pretty awesome dude! Any chance you'd consider doing a long form video with a full playthrough?
We think alike - check out my channel and you'll find that video. Thanks for watching.
Very niiiice !
Thanks.
Well done. Love this song and your lesson was very helpful.
So glad you found it helpful. Thanks for watching and for your kind comments.
The chords with mirroring finger use in the corner of the screen kept me watching . That's the sort of thing that really helps noobs .
Thanks a bunch for the very helpful feedback - much appreciated.
Could you think about a tutorial of Sting's/Dominic Miller's "Fields of Gold" and "Shape of My Heart"? I've been working on them as a mostly novice but I really appreciate your easy and relaxed methods and extremely clear explanations. I think you could probably be of great help to me. Thank you. Go Chiefs!
First, thank you for watching the tutorial and for commenting - very much appreciated. Second, I most certainly will work on both and get tutorials out. Just an FYI that I have a couple other requests I am working on so it may take a bit before these get posted. Thanks for the request. Third, - "Go Chiefs!" is absolutely right!!!😄
Very helpful! Thanks so much!
You're most welcome. Thank you for watching.
Stand by me, bass line was wrong.
I listened to it, again. If you're talking about the second line where I play an extra note - fair enough. Thanks for watching and for your comment. Much appreciated.
Genious in action Ive byen playing for 40 years Wow easy but niceeeeeeee
Thanks for watching...I appreciate it.
Love the lesson, two thumbs up!!!
Thanks so much for watching - glad you found it helpful. More to come.
Excellent job! By the way, I like the lyric change. Why change the lyric to “ice”? Why not?
Thanks, Stephen - I appreciate it.
Thanks for your help
You're most welcome. Thanks for watching and for commenting. I appreciate it. More to come.
As an older beginner/intermediate student, I appreciate your teaching style. Thanks for helping enlighten me with the switch from chords to scales but timing being most important. Thanks for freestyling, the lightbulb did really just go off. I look forward to more of your videos. Cheers from SE Oklahoma.
So glad the video was helpful. Thanks for letting me know and for your kind words. Definitely more to come.

Thanks so much for swinging by, checking out the video, and for your kind comments. And thank you for the request of "Enough To Be On Your Way" by JT. I actually don't know it so I'm truly grateful for the request as it'll motivate me to learn it. I'll try to alert you when it's available but it'll be a bit as I have a couple other requests I'm working on. Thanks, again.
You’ve really got those little JT licks down. Nice work.
Thanks so much. I checked out your channel and see that you're a fan of JT as well. Good job on your songs - well done. If you're interested, I plan to have more JT tutorials in the future so check back when you have opportunity.

Barry: I "suspended" (sorry) all my other activities this PM to start learning this ! Thanks. CM was truly a gifted writer and performer, gone way too soon; but left us with treasures to enjoy for decades !

Thankyou enjoyed the lesson very much. Love your guitar love your voice and your a gd teacher❤

Hi Barry Thanks for posting these classic songs. You have a wonderful teaching style. I like the sound of your Taylor guitar and vouce on these tunes. Beautiful and helpful! Keep em coming!
Thanks so much for your kind comments, Stephanie. I'm glad you found the video helpful. More to come for sure.
Stephanie, do you know my brother, Kelly, by any chance?
You have a nice distinctive voice with good timing and delivery. I can't say I like the crispy sound of the Taylor guitars though. I like a more warm woody sound.
Thank you so much for your kind comments and for watching the video. I appreciate it. Perhaps my guitar will get warmer as it gets older. Thanks, again.
Wood bridge pins help some expensive/quality guitars continue to have plastic pins. I added bone pins and it was a big NO, switched to wood and it became “more woody and earthy” just my experimenting.
@@flouisbailey, thanks for the tip.
