When I was homeless I’d take my kid to the library and the park a lot to play. Most libraries let me work out of their computer areas or rent one too and that saved my life. Literally. I don’t know where I’d be right now if it weren’t for these free places.

I just quit being a QBO support rep last week. Such a stressful environment with difficult customers.

However its much smarter to keep your job, get a new job lined up, and then quit when you can start the new one. There is no valid reason to make yourself homeless, no matter how much you hate your job.

I work 7 days a week just to exist. If I missed one weekend of work I’d probably lose my house. Working part time feels like bliss

i am a student who had just finished their school and is searching for a job with rent being around 90% my monthly income. There are some tricks i've learned during this: - Always buy in bulk! it's cheaper and you have a lot of food for a lot of time - buy a lot of frozen fruit/vegetable. It's cheaper and has a long life in the freezer. Also, it's healthier than fresh ones :D - don't go to starbucks, don't buy coffee made for you. You can always use the pulverized coffee beans and you can buy your own vanilla syrup/milk and you'll have A LOT MORE for your money than when going to Starbucks.

I wish we had functional libraries 😭😭😭
