What car company has good customer service and promptly answer phones? I’m finding the used cars on the Tesla website are universally priced lower than what private party sellers are listing their cars for. My best guess is that Tesla is probably pretty picky on what cars they will accept for second hand resale and sell everything else at auction which is why there are sooo many used car dealers selling sooo many teslas. I don’t really understand how private party sellers expect to get more than Tesla when selling a used car. I’m going to buy a used Tesla from Tesla and my best guess is that it’s going to be painless and easy.

I literally have a google sheet, that was basically like YNAB. and basically whenever I got income (because I work as a freelancer so my income varies alot on each month) so I have come up with a budget based on % in a sense that regardless of how much money for that check X% goes into this category Y% goes into this other category etc etc and I had it like that using every single dollar So I just started using YNAB literally yesterday; using the free trial and let's see but so far it seems pretty useful for my way of like allocating my money and putting in to different categories

Do you worry about battery health warranty? Will the battery die at year 9? Have you do any research about battery health for model S? Thanks

I’m in the market for a 2017 Model S but didn’t realize you had to retrofit cameras for FSD. The S looks so much better than the 3 but with the full FSD of the 3 and Y it seems for the FSD feature it seems like a better choice. I was told the 2017 S can still perform semi FSD without camera update which might be a worthy trade off for much better looking sedan and more roomier interior and amenities.

Hey there, you inspired me to buy FSD for my 2018 75D. They updated my FSD computer which unlocked FSD 11. Did you say you needed to ALSO update your MCU in order to get V12?

I don’t necessarily agree with the late night driving. A lot of us have jobs working third shifts and we must sleep during the day. Also there’s less traffic. But like you said, flawed but promising.

If you park in a parking garage, the safety score dings you a lot for aggressive turning and such which can lower your score by 20

Hey Dan! I purchased my used Model 3 about 2 months ago and absolutely love it. I've had Tesla Insurance for that duration and I use FSD Supervised. I think my biggest problem with the Tesla Insurance is the forward collision warning. It seems way too random and sensitive. Sometimes I'll get really close to a car and it won't do anything, other times there's a car on the side of the road that I am nowhere near and it'll ding me. Whenever Forward Collision Warning does alert me, it doesn't just drop my score by a couple points, it drops the entire day down to like 50 or 60, I have to proactively drive the car around afterwards to get it back up. Also, the night driving thing, I wish it was pushed to 12am, while I understand the insurance reason, idk, seems a tad excessive to me. But yeah otherwise I like Tesla Insurance, it's by far the cheapest for me right now, but I don't like how the premium shifts so much. I've been watching your channel for the last year or so, keep up the great work man.

I was finally hoping for an update on the car. I recently got a 2017 model s 75d with 61k miles about 3 months ago and I love it so far it’s at 67k miles now and still no problems yet hopefully 🙏. I was also wondering for the center console did the car come equipped with a charger or was that installed? Mine has nothing in the center console so I was thinking that I might have to install one.

If you don’t have a mortgage. You can buy hookers monthly and therefore get laid every month or afford to go to bars and buy drinks and get laid. That’s all life is really about. Getting laid as much as possible.

As someone who has researched and read a lot in the past few years about the Model S I really like this channel! Really like your detailed and calm way of presenting. Test-drove a M3 LR '19 and a MY LR '22, for a couple hundreds of miles each, but am still wanting the S more. Still not decided though if I should go for a 2017-2019 pre-Raven or a Raven 2019-end of 2020 LR.

Hey I just bought this same car with 17k miles.... brand new almost.... FSD included and Arachnid Wheels. What an exceptional car. Way less to go wrong. 2nd motor, suspension, sunroof, all failure points

In forcing a lane change, You are overriding FSD. In that case, disengage and make the lane change yourself. Has your Tesla actually made contact with the curb or does it make you uncomfortable?

After using Monarch for abt 2 mo, I find some frustrating issues. I use the program primarily for tracking transactions. Editing fields (such as vendors) doesn't allow you to edit the downloaded data from the financial institutions -- which comes down as pretty obtuse. You have to go thru the process of establishing a new vendor name. Also when you bank downloads a check - it's just the check #, and in order to pair the ck # and the payee in the vendor field - you need to establish a new vendor for each check number - TIME CONSUMING, There is just no way to enter into the vendor field and edit it on the run. Also, search function gives you a very limited number of entries when you search for transactions with the same vendor name and you know you have a lot more. This was all pretty simple in Mint . I h ope they build some of these features into Monarch based on user feedback.

i would still be using MS money if one of my primary banks didnt update their software to make the OFX files incompatible with money. i just killed my quicken account, i still dont have a solution as i want something local and prefer with option of installing on 2 devices with data file residing on dropbox/onedrive - i dont want to share extra information with any online organizations especially letting them sync with my other financial institutions, i dont mind software that does that locally but i dont want to lose all my money from 4 different banks b/c hackers. i mostly need a way to manage my account translations and occasionally look at reports. im not focused on the investments side right now and i can do that separately if i need to

FSD did fine on a very easy daytime drive, with few unprotected turns. Next time, maybe a challenging drive in Dallas, during morning or afternoon rush hour? Or at night? Thanks!
