In reality, the charger can't detect the type of battery but remembers the last mode it was set next time you plug it in.

You'd better disconnect the battery before using the repair mode because the charger puts the battery through high voltage that could damage sensitive electronics in your car.

The Harbor freight lights similar to this work great. I have three and used one for last 3 years and it's still going strong. Plus they use the 18650 batteries so easy to replace the battery if required.

What you demonstrated make no sense. The NOCO 10 already has a dedicated charging and maintenance mode. The supply mode is for 12V devices and maintaining 12V to the vehicle to sustain memory when the battery is removed from the vehicle.

How do we know when repair mode is finished

For real don't try to mechanic if you ain't a mechanic. Stupidity kills!

I am noticing the signs of bad struts (and shocks) such as poor handling in corners. These are things like the front end seeming to dip down in turns. It can be the vehicle feels less stable in the wind than it normally did. I am going to a good mechanic not too far from me today. This is also a collision shop well known for their good high quality work. They may very well be one of the highest rated shops within 50 or 100 miles easily. Even when I needed body work and needed to get work done my insurance asked where I would like to take the vehicle and when I mentioned that place they immediately told me that they see a lot of good reviews for that place. I am not here to advertise for a specific shop (the reason why I never mentioned who it is) but also not everyone is going to live near enough to it to get there as easily as I do. Instead they will probably know of a shop near them that is also very highly rated. I am not saying that they are the best in existence but they do have a strong reputation for quality!

I had a car that had a power steering pump burn out.. it had a distinct smell that I’ll never forget lol. I smelled that same smell while in my mother-in-law’s crv and got home and figured I would check the fluid.. why ideas ?
