    lol what a joke the moon is made up of none active rock what is none active rock you dont explain that main part of your theory ? Also how the hell does reflection change the wave length of light. That is like saying a regular mirror turns sunlight into black light or ultra violent light .... Do your own experiments and test moon light its a completely different type of light than sunlight... facts... Then you say its a illusion ???? what how what what is the illusion ,,,, the color of the light just like we see blood moons or blue moons just saying you didnt explain that part.. Also you admit it glows glowing is a term used for something that makes its own light just saying............ The fact that the craters (which are supposedly from meteor impacts have mounds in the middle... completely negating the fact of an impact. As a impact would not leave a mound in the middle >) the fact that you state craters and the volcanoes are the reason for the reflections is crazy to i mean the light would be speckled not a even all around glow. JUst saying if your so called none reactive rock was a thing......WAKE UP PEOPLE the whole space thing is not how they tell you it is ..

    Hi. Thank you from Romania. A question. I am new to this so... I would think buying either the 127 AZ. You are talking about observing sky with the 10mm and 25 mm eypeaces but what happens if you add a 8-5 or 3 mm? Doesn't double or triple the observation experience? The zoom etc..?

    Have you had hand-controlled errors pop up or have you tried to update. I try and keep getting errors it will start to download updates then fails

    • @astronomyscope
      @astronomyscope 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes, I’ve encountered hand-controlled errors before, especially during updates. Here's a few tips to troubleshoot: - Check the connection: Ensure your telescope's connection to the update source is stable. - Reboot and retry: Sometimes, a simple reboot of the telescope and your computer can help. - Update software: Make sure both the telescope firmware and the software you’re using for updates are the latest versions. - Storage space: Ensure there is enough storage space on your device to complete the download. - Contact support: If the issue persists, reach out to the manufacturer’s support for more detailed assistance. Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes or if you need more advice.

    Dear friend, ask me a question, I'm starting out in astronomy and I thought about buying these 20x80 binoculars and also buying the Celestron travel scoop 70mm. My question is... is it worth buying both in order to see different things? Will one complement the other? or are they very similar in terms of what I will see? Will it be an advantage to also have the Celestron 70mm? or is it not worth such an investment to have both. Thank you, I hope you can clear this doubt for me

    • @jbiss1966
      @jbiss1966 หลายเดือนก่อน

      These are large heavy binoculars. They are tiring to hold over a long period and more importantly if you are looking at the stars and planets, they are difficult to hold steady. I would start with the 20x 80's and buy a cheapish camera tripod. It will get you started and you can buy a heavier tripod later, if you wish.

    I was looking at buying either this scope or the Skywatcher Heritage 150p Virtuoso GTI. What do you think are the advantages of the Nexstar 127 SLT? I thought the Skywatcher might be better as it has better light gathering and a shorter focal length, but I'm a beginner so not sure what else to compare.

    I just bought the CELESTRON Upclose G2 10-30x50 Binoculars and there is double vision. Can I fix it like that?

    • @astronomyscope
      @astronomyscope 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Double vision is often caused by misaligned optics. Try adjusting the diopter setting and making sure the interpupillary distance is set correctly for your eyes. If that doesn't work, there might be an issue with collimation. I'd recommend contacting Celestron support if the problem persists - they're usually great with warranty repairs.

    A bit of credibility lost when saying that the images are upside-down and you might need to correct that. No you don't. In space there is no upside down, and correcting that degrades the view, especially since the only ereft image prisms for reflectors are cheap junk that comes with the worst newtonian dept store grade.scopes

    • @astronomyscope
      @astronomyscope หลายเดือนก่อน

      No doubt you are correct, but you're picking out a nuance. Should I have said "appears to us upside down". Sure. Is the end result the same. Absolutely.

    • @k.h.1587
      @k.h.1587 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @astronomyscope if you haven't compared the difference between a star diagonal and an erect prism, or just simply always used scopes with the diagonal it came with, you should give it a try. Those erect prisms really do degrade the astro image. A far bigger difference than going from the cheap star prism or star mirror diagonal that comes with a proper astronomy scope, to a 99% dielectric diagonal. Every costco special refractor has always come with a 90deg erect prism, because.they know Joe q public will return it if the label on his neighbor's bra or panties is reverse in his telescope :). And mini maks are ideal spotters so it makes sense to include an erecting prism. 20 years ago with my first costco scope, I was OK with it at first, other than that diffraction spike on planets, but when I got a 32mm plossl and I could see vignetting, I called telescope warehouse and he suggested a star prism that he was selling that was better than the average mirror diagonal, and for only $20 so I bought it. Not only did it correct the spike and vignetting, but it greatly improved sharpness and contrast. I kept and used that thing for years until I was robbed of all of it. I did prefer dielectric diagonals later on, but that cheap star prism beat every basic mirror diagonal I ever put it up against, let alone every erect prism that ever came with any scope. I particularly like old japanese made star prisms. People hear prism and think of the horrible erect prisms, but a star prism is just one solid piece of glass and can give excellent views if made to a good quality standard.

  • @3dfxvoodoocards6

    A barlow is not a good ideea because it lowers the image quality and brightnes. Its much better for this telescope for high magnification (66x) to buy a 6 mm 68 degree eyepiece, than to use a barlow.

    Fun fact: the screw at the lowest of the tripod is used to pull out the inner tube too. When you pull out the tube and retighten the screw, you can get a little more elevation like 6-10 inches or so. Just be careful as it can get a little shaky.
