What trail is this and where do you park?

I live a half mile from the trail head and I can’t believe I’ve never been on these dirt trails!! I’ve been on all the paved trails at Elm Creek, and I had a Trek Elite 9.8, that’s what this was made for! I now have an FX sport 5, I’m going to make it happen!

I was going to go mountain biking on trails for the first time but I didn’t know it was closed for the winter at most parts 😂

I got to ride that for the first time yesterday. Absolutely epic little run. Can't wait to ride it again.

What bike do you have?

I ride here multiple times a week. It's cool to watch these older videos and see how much the trail has changed. They've added a bunch of jumps to the main blue trail.

Was just up there recently and some of that riding looked really familiar to me...the ones where you cased it hard... 😄 I make a couple, come up short on most of them, and that dang rock drop at 4:28 still intimidates me too much... 😬🤕

I loveeee the flow at elm. Especially in that open meadow area with the jumps

Every time I’ve gone here I have injured myself or had to repair my bike or both so be careful out there yall but Battle Creek is very fun

I know I'm years late on this but I just picked up this gimbal off eBay for my GoPro hero8 black. Excited to try it out, and I am also really impressed with the mic quality. I will also find out if the media mod will work with the WG2X. Did your G2X come with the adapter to hold the GoPro? As in the spring-loaded holder?

Hello, is the extra battery necessary to have light or there is a batterie inside the light ? How your friend do with his light on helmet if there is a cable between the light and the battery ? Thank you in advance

Pretty sweet test. Going to have to take a look at a more recent video to see the current setup. The gimbal seems to have reduced the amount of work the Hypersmooth algorithm was doing and allowed for a wider PoV. Pretty impressed with how well Hypersmooth on its own did, though, even if it had to crop the frame more to do it. Almost wish there was a 'no stabilization at all' pass just to see how bad it could have been!

Did you get the jumps? lol. I ask because like you in 2020 I was working to that goal as well. I got the first 5 but then that turn gets me and cant get the ones after it (I just ran it 2 weeks ago). if I could I think I can get the whole line. its a issue with many as I've not seen anyone clean the line as-of-yet!! thanks and great video!

There have been drastic changes I highly recommend a new video for it.

I just hit that trial for the first time last weekend. It was better than I expected. Can't wait to hit it again.

I gave this a shot this spring. The opposite way you did it though. Made it from Lester Park to Twin Ponds then I just knew I couldn't go any further. Didn't eat enough and it was a super hot day. Maybe I'll try again next year but damn it's a challenge.

They have redone some of this even in the year it's been open. Lots more on raptors ridge in the way of jumps and table tops.

Nice run Ben, I rode this Friday for the first and second time. Super fun trail. I was told by a volunteer I ran into on the trail with his 12 yr old little shredder that a new black or double black would be opening in a month or so - just north of the Mahnomen Unit.

Was jus put there last weekend to ride drawdown. Did not disappoint great video as well
