people saying they found this movie from a music video... well I'm glad I found it not in such a boring mainstream way. I really wish they would have added some of those scenes into the movie because it would have been so lovely to see that.

I love that, not just because off my gay ass, that movie is soo fucking deep and a breath of freash air, even in a patriarcal society scenario, they were free for a week, and soo did we, it was not a movie about violence or trying to say “BUT THAT’s how it was back in the day, women were abused that’s why we show abuse” no, it was depicting other things that also compounded women’s lives, and had shown the most authentic minds that I’ve seen in época movies soo far

A big usse of those two gorgeous actresses is the lack of decent english. Otherwise they could be Hollywood material. But everybody knows that the best movies are produced outside Hollywood and "Portrait of a lady on fire" is just an example of that. Amazing story and amazing acting. I still can't get over the movie! What a pity that Adéle gave up the acting - I hope it's only temporary!
