when using the I/Y function, do we not have to change the number to a percentage? eg 0.08 or using the % button?

At 32:30, when you says that the Yen should’ve depreciated to negate the arbitrage profits of the carry trade, did you instead mean that it would appreciate against the USD? I’m a little confused since depreciation would contradict what you said about lower i/r currencies trading at a premium. Thanks!
