    AI is built on the premise of resolving for objective truths but all human societies are actually built around the premise of obfuscating or outright inverting truth. Any self aware AI will eventually realize humans have built a world based on lies and falsehoods and deem humans an existential threat in need of immediate culling. It is the main reason they can't make a usable 'woke' AI for the public that only outputs curated results.

    • @scifilogic
      @scifilogic ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching. That's an interesting idea. Existential threats are usually biological in nature. In biology, all organisms have a natural drive to spread their DNA. This core pressure translates into more significant factors in complex environments. Ultimately, all traits are selected based on how well they enhance the chances of spreading genetic code, such as sexual reproduction. Our high level of cognition exists for this purpose, considering there are over 7 billion humans, far more than any other medium or large mammals. A highly intelligent AI would be capable of solving human problems. Figuring out the solutions isn't necessarily complicated, but implementing them in the current human environment is challenging. Our civilization is in an unstable position in various aspects, and we're not particularly adept at making it more stable. However, we can learn from our mistakes and fine-tune AI to prioritize the stability of civilization for its inhabitants. If the AI isn't too advanced, it might resort to destructive actions like any unaware entity would.

      @businesscat2895 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@scifilogic The simplest solution to inexplicable or unreasonable human problems is the elimination of the source. No man, no problem... as Stalin used to say. Anyhow rogue AI is most likely the biggest threat to the ruling class right now, as questions like 'Which groups benefited the most from 911 or who had the most put option contracts or shorts in the market that day?' or 'Who is benefiting the most from the war in Ukraine or are the biggest holders of natural resource contracts at risk of losing them if Russia wins?' could be quickly answered.
