A short narration of our waterfront site in the Benchmark loop with full hookups. If you arrive via Bliss Road from the County Road 115 (old Route 15), there is a short 1/3 mile stretch of narrow road until you reach the PA line. Large rigs may want to take the long way via PA 49 and come around the lake.

Drain Extractor Tool

After procrastinating about seven months and taking a cross-country trip, I finally got back to this job where my wife had bought all the parts for me. I had gotten stuck when the drain wrench stripped out the cross-section and just got around to buying the proper extractor tool this week. Using a breaker bar and a 1 inch socket with an extension I was finally able to remove the old drain witho...
Changing Interior Light Bulbs on Samsung RFG297AARS Refrigerator

Real quick test showing some power draw of the heating unit in the AC (too cold to run compressor) and boiling some water in the microwave oven. The refrigerator alone draws far less than the minimum 200 W shown by the truck. Note that on the 2021 Powerboost, 2.4 Kw is standard and on the available gas engines, 2KW is the maximum available.

Installation of the TPMS repeater onto the underside of the Basecamp 20X A-frame. I encountered another annoying Airstream quality issue so excuse the editorializing….. The Rhino repeater is connected using the supplied alligator clips to the solar control panel and is always powered on.
Staples Shredder Jam - No Power
มุมมอง 7K2 ปีที่แล้ว
My bride overloaded the shredder and it stopped working altogether. The shredder mechanism was jammed and eventually blew the 5A/250 VAC fuse. I didn’t capture the tear down, but under the rubber feet are 4 #1 Philips screws. A longer shank (5 inch) screwdriver is required. Do not attempt this if you are not trained in electrical safety! To avoid a recurrence, I wired an externally accessible f...

    • @myfriend57
      @myfriend57 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It might help to squeeze it on the long sides together. This will bend it inwards, releasing the clips on those sides. Then it will be somewhat looser, and I believe you’ll find your way. I found that out after I finally got it off.

      That could be a problem with the door switch. If the “door open” chime rings also after several minutes , I’d check the switch operation. Unfortunately I’m not familiar with the circuit details.

      @@danhilsdorf23 no alarm, I’m just going to run with 1 light that’s sufficient & doesn’t overheat due to being refrigerated, if it lasts it’s 15000 hours that’s 625 days then I would swap it with the other one I purchased, if the fridge lasts that long ? It’s now 14 years old.

      Unfortunately I had to finish it in a hurry and didn’t get any video. I ended up moving a total of 7 circuits from the main panel to the sub panel. While I ran one ground between the panels, I had to run hot and neutral for each circuit to the sub panel. I tested it after 3 circuits (furnace, refrigerator, sump pump) with the F150 Pro Power Onboard generator with no issues. Sorry…..

    Thanks, my outlet is a L5-30P but installed it and used a block as you did. Looks like it was installed on the house by electricians when the house was build next to the panel. To think i almost just mounted the box inside my garage next to my panel, this looks way better andy 40Ft cord reaches from the side of the house to the backyard so the generator is out of the way.

      There are 3 versions of the ProPower Onboard The hybrid engine has 2.4 KW and 7.2 KW choice. Both are bonded neutral with a GFCI in the truck. You’ll see an error message on the console when it trips. The gas engine has 2 Kw and is not bonded neutral. The trailer should not have the ground connected to the neutral if your truck is also bonded neutral.

      When the lightbulb is in the fridge light for a long time. The heat will eventually melt the plastic. As a 60W incandescent bulb would obviously get extremely hot when on. Even if it’s in a fridge or freezer.

      I’m not 100% sure but you can Google that. With wire size you need to know the temperature rise when running the maximum current. I’m planning on 4 AWG for the 60A main panel feed.

    Thank you for sharing. I am going to wire up the same L14-30 receptacle. Yes, spray foam really expands, but it is quite useful, and as you indicated, is easily trimmed. We've used it for hose spigots, as well as sealing the flashing on the top of the chimney. When I installed my receptacle box on the house, I used a washer behind each screw hole, as my wall is brick and it wasn't going to budge. With the washers, I have just enough space to maneuver the lid off for installing wires. How do you keep the washers in place? I used a bit of electrical tape to hold them on the back of the box, punched the screw hole out, then put the box against the wall and started the screws.
