A head tattoo is as painful from the first time the needle goes in until the very second it is finished.... Take ASHWAGANDHA for anxiety...

People who say why buy that expensive reel are just haters. I always tell my friend you can catch a fish on a $50 rod and reel setup. But the experience won't be as good as a 400 reel and 400+ rod.

I got both sides of my head tattooed last thursday it took 6 hrs no numbing cream i know what you in the pain factor .im getting the top of my head done im having two more done. This time im using numbing cream. I use second wrap on my head it helps alot .

Hi! That is a very nice combo for ultralight fishing, these are highly regarded rods/blanks. The purpose of the Anti-reverse switch is to allow you to feed line off the reel with the bail closed. Apparently there are anglers that like to bypass the drag and release line in a controlled manner if a larger fish runs. I say "apparently" because I've never seen anyone use it that way. It may also be useful if you wish to feed line (to reduce any drag) during a drift while float fishing (without wanting to open the bail) in a stream. In the Shimano/Daiwa ranges, this feature is often eliminated in the saltwater specific reels to eliminate a possible entry point for salt water. This reel seems to balance reasonably well with the outfit. The Daiwa LT reel family in the 1000 and 2000 sizes are generally considered to perform well in ultralight applications, being smooth on the retrieve and having smooth drags. The drag is important when fishing light lines used in ultralight applications. The Revros is slightly heavier than the Legalis, Regal, etc in the family but that is an asset when balancing this longer rod. As someone else pointed out, if you upgrade the rod (which will probably be lighter weight) you will likely want/be tempted to upgrade the reel, not because of the function of the reel itself, but more likely the weight on the lighter rod. Even within the Daiwa range of reels listed here, the 1000 size reel weight ranges from 205 grams (Revros) to 185 grams (Legalis), with the Regal at 190 grams. The "premium" reels in the well over $100 range add some features (often sealing technologies and mechanical refinements) but the biggest benefit in ultralight fishing is the decrease in reel weight, ie: a 1000 size Procyon MQ or Tatula MQ weighs 170 grams. Tackle acquisition can be a slippery (and expensive) slope. I would suggest that you enjoy this nicely balanced good value set-up (considering cosmetic finish, operating smoothness, casting capability, sensitivity) until you identify areas that you would wish to improve (sensitivity, casting distance/accuracy or whatever) and then decide which other rod/reel combination might allow you to achieve those improvements. You may find (if you fish high gradient/current streams) that ultralight works best in quieter sections of the stream but lacks the "backbone" to control a fish in heavier current. Or that the length, while great for casting at the local pond/lake, lacks accuracy in the shorter casts needed to target pockets on your local creek. As you gain experience you will be able to identify what would make a "better" rod for you. Cheers, and "tight lines"!

After watching this cringy video is seeing u not knowing anything about that ultralight setup and talking about nothing u know about 😂 The purpose of that handle on the reel is for it to collapse for traveling, tighten the cap on the other side of the reel to tighten it …and the handle and reel spool matches the copper on the rod around ur hand and use 4lb line The purpose for the 2pc rod is for convenience and the longer length will help u cast further That setup is perfect for ultralight fishing

i have a full bodysuit but just did a tiny one behind my ear and im glad it only lasted like, 30 minuteish. maybe even less. Can't see myself doing a big one that shit hurts.

Tighten the nut on the other side of the reel to tighten the handle.The anti reverse switch on the bottom of the reel let's you back reel to give the fish line like the drag.

Which rod did you choose? I have a Stella 3kxg coming in today but think it might be too heavy for my rod (9' Century Demon).

The idea of squeezing something sounds like a smart idea. I'm going to use some tktx numbing cream as I used it for my ribs and it made it so much easier

Got the whole back of my head done on Tuesday. And that shit was nothing like you explained. 1-10 pain scale was about a 3 or a 4 back of the neck being the worst at a 6 or 7. I guess everyone is different 🤷‍♂️

Really loved the format of this video - just sitting and talking to us. You have a good voice for it, could definitely see myself binge watching videos of yours. I got a tattoo à week ago on the side of my head (takes up about 1/3 of my head) and a little on my ear as well. I wanted to be sure I was taking care of it correctly so I clicked on this video. Gotta say, I definitely got a confidence boost watching this (: I didn't think my head tattoo hurt hardly at all, maybe a 3 or 4 compared to other tattoos and piercings I've had done...except for on the temple. That felt like a lot of pressure, similar to when I feel a migraine coming on. And it lingered.
