How did those crappie taste.

@coveultimatefishing8937 They were awesome, used some Zatarains fish fry, cole slaw, and green beans on the side! Meant to get you some pics but have been busy busy busy. Saved the scraps for some catfish bait too.

@Fishing_with_Domingo Thanks Domingo. I wanted my guy to at least catch some crappie for his family si ce he said they never tried then. Successful day. He took 20 home with him and I was able to bless him with a crappie rod.

@mikemarks6562 Get you some Blue Ice Bobby Garland from Walmart and if you find them and if they biting they will hit that color.

@ i got that color but i’ll go get more i’m at the gym right now i can go swing by academy reel quick because i gotta restock anyways i need some more jig heads also the kids get them and move stuff in the boat ima go in a couple days probably put in at baylus

@mikemarks6562 I fish the wahoo creek side and clarks bridge side mostly. But in the chestatee area they got big crappie there too.

@ that’s the north end i don’t fish that side much i need to start only reason i put in at baylus i live 5 min from that boat ramp night time i use to fish at the dawsonville hwy bridge but hard to tie up under there since they remodeled that bridge i love shooting docks for them crappie i hate fishing for them because i cant catch them but i find myself always going right back to fishing for them 😂

@DerrickHeard-e4c D heard I put WD 40 on it and it won't stop squeaking. I'm gonna try to put a rubber ring on the post to absorb the turning. I hate that noise myself. Lol. But that squeaking didn't stop us from catching them crappies though.

@Fishing_with_Domingo I switched to 6ilb test instead of the 4lb I been using. And yes the Palomar not will be my next knot for this weekend. Can't afford to loose those big ones sir. Lol

@coveultimatefishing8937 I feel ya, bro! I was using 6lbs Mr crappie line, and I was losing too many jigs and too many fish. It's not good when your line breaks when you try to pull in that monster! 🏆💯🐟🙏

Hey Danny. I used to play for the LA Dodgers back in the 90's and that was my first Major League Jersey number. And I do love the backbone that the ACC crappie has on hook sets and swinging them in the boat.

@michaelb2186 hey Michael I did have a loop knot on 2 of my poles and it happened with those as well. One guy did comment that I need to check my jig head to make sure there isn't a small gap there. The line can squeeze through that gap

Edward you hit the nail on the head. Because on one of the fish I lost I saw that my knot didn't come loose it had to have slid through that small space. I have seen that before and didn't think about closing it. Thanks for the input 👍🏿

@bobsomocus3092 It's because when I get off my trailer I use my trolling motor to go to the dock to tie on. I let my motor warm up while I park my trailer. Then when I get back down I then let my trolling motor up before I get going to my fishing spot. Just my routine I do. I'm sure others use there big motor to go to dock.

What area do you fish?

I fish the clarks bridge and wahoo creek areas

@@coveultimatefishing8937 So what is the trick to finding them and catching them? I don't have a fish finder and don't know how deep to fish for them.

@DJGENOTYPE Since you don't have a fish finder try to target Docks that are at least 15 feet deep and in shaded areas. If you see some blow down trees in deep enough water there might be crappie there.

He bit my jig and here they said the 14 inchers taste really good so I had to try one. It was delicious out of the air fryer.
