The BEST Way to Clean an Old PING Putter!
If you have a classic PING Anser putter that looks disgusting, then give it some new life with this incredible and easy cleaning method!
All you'll need to clean your putter is some white vinegar, salt, warm water, Brasso, a sponge, and some kind of car wax (in this case, Meguiar's waterless wash and wax).
You can clean your classic PING putter by soaking the putter in a mixture of warm water, vinegar, and salt for about 10 minutes. Then, you have to scrub it down with a sponge and Brasso. Finally, you need to use some kind of finishing wax (car wax) to create a protective barrier on the putter's head, preventing it from tarnishing again in the future.
It's that easy!

CLEANING A PING ANSER PUTTER IN COCA-COLA
มุมมอง 53K4 ปีที่แล้ว
These golf forums are full of (smart) weirdos who suggest soaking your good ol' Ping Anser putter in coke for a day to get rid of 4 decades' worth of patina. I tried it out on my Ping Karsten Anser 3 putter from the 80's to see if it would work. Skip to 3:05 if you just want to see the before and after. Here's how to select multiple files at once in the Sony PlayMemories desktop application. For some reason, you can't shift click on the checkbox to select all of the files, you have to shift click on the picture icons and THEN click on the checkbox to select multiple files. Sony a7iii Low-Light Sample
มุมมอง 1055 ปีที่แล้ว
I recently sold all of my Canon gear which I have been using for the last many years to pick up a Sony a7iii with 24-70mm and 50mm 1.8 lenses. This camera is an absolute BEAST in low-light conditions! For the parts where I was talking to the camera, I used the 50mm lens (hence the slight clicking sound you hear) and for the other videos of Columbus, I used the kit lens on a Zhiyun Crane v2. Love the car. I’ve been looking at these in hopes of getting one for a summer cruiser this year. Has it been a reliable car for you? Is maintenance expensive on these?

      It has been truly amazing to own. Super reliable even for long drives. I've done 6 hour trips over 300 miles each way with no problems. Repairs are not too expensive as long as you don't take it to the actual Mercedes repair centers. Find someone independent and knowledgeable to help you with the various small repairs that come with older cars

      I have one sitting in my back yard for the last 2 years because every time I drove it, something else would break and every part cost $1000. The top quit working the third time I put it down. The headlight melted the plastic screws it screwed into. Then the hood flew up when I was driving 35 mph and bent the hood, the hood mounts and cracked the windshield. It then started overheating out of nowhere and the power steering quit working. That's why it's parked in my back yard. It is pretty fast and fun to drive though.

      @@possibly_imran The Holy Grail of the R129. The 1998 with the older better more powerful quad-cam engine and the newer better 5 speed transmission. I just yesterday tracked down the Mercedes specific Dexron 3 Transmission Fluid and the specific Blue G48 coolant this motor calls for and I'm going to start her up later this afternoon. They are a blast to drive. That German V8 is a beast! The trans is unlike any car I've driven. Its so smooth. No matter how hard you are going, you can barely tell the gear changes. The motor is the same way. When they were new, I remember seeing an advertisement of a tech standing a quarter up on the motor and starting it without it falling over.

    I know this technique, but polarization won't cope with shiny frames. The framework is the biggest problem. Polarization changes color, e.g. the gold frame turns orange and the silver frame turns blue.

  • @chrisgriffith1573
    @chrisgriffith1573 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    By using a 30 degree angle to the work of art, you can position your lights to give minimum bounce back to the camera, this ensures very little polarizing is necessary. Screening out 95 percent of the photons coming in from all directions dims the color and tone of the original. Not something I would recommend for professional results, ESPECAILLY if you are looking to reproduce that painting in print. This is why so many illustrators HATE dealing with the printing process, they don't realize that the loss of color is due to a service bureau or makeshift copy stand set up by the printer is to blame. The less polarization, the less color loss will be. The best reproduction you can get is to polarize and diffuse lights set at 30 degree angles to the work, placed ten feet from the work piece. Use a 55mm telephoto lens at 7-10 feet, depending on the size. if the piece is too large for that format, back the lights up as well. Use at least two lights to cover left and right, for equal illumination over the entire piece. Anything you polarize out, needs to be exposed to compensate, so as not to dim the color.

    • @zubek59
      @zubek59 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unfortunately, polarization cannot cope with the framework. As for your method for 2 lamps. Unfortunately, the light will be uneven and the bottom/top of the frame will be lit differently.

    • @chrisgriffith1573
      @chrisgriffith1573 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@zubek59 I guess that is why we- (the photolab I worked at for 3 years in college) used it without incident long before and I was there and I assume long after I was there... the umbrellas were polarized as well, receiving the flash, bouncing it towards the target zone. This method for attaining a professional and evenly lit image has been used for decades. The Setup is greatly empowered by bounced light. But I get great results just by properly positioning my lights at 30-35 degrees above and behind the camera. Good luck doing anything else- you will need it if you don't get what I am telling you.

      Yup. The idea is, the polarising sheets make the light only hit the painting in one 'direction', and then you turn the filter to cut out all reflections that have that polarity..
