Two fruit cakes Lol!
They should let the homeless move in.
Yeah the zoomed in, fast moving shaky camera made it too hard to watch.
Love this place, visited in the mid 60s as a kid. My Grandpa took me there for ice cream and train ride. Visited every year for Holiday Train rides.
Cool place and I've actually drove around there a few times when I was working in Bento Harbor. I just gotta say your videography could definitely use some work. A little shaky and pointed down while zoomed in to much. Kinda hard to watch.
Holy crap! I can't believe this showed up in my recommended! I deliver loads next to there at LC Howard, and I always thought it would be super cool to be able to go inside and check it out!
The tickets are only3.00 and that includes a mini train ride.. its so peaceful and all the volunteers are so informative and nice! The do special Halloween and Christmas rides that are all lit up..there is a little museum and a greenhouse. I just happened to go on the most hot day this summer so didn't look all around.
You can get the latest info from Chris Siriano in his Museum in St. Joseph, Mi. Theres even a movie.
Doesn't really look like the Whit' but maybe I'm just old!
i used to smoke crack there
Some action movie was filmed there, that's where the police sign came from.
Most fortune 100 companies have food courts [run by someone like Sodexo Marriott] cafeterias and many have daycare centers for employees. The corporate headquarters I worked at also had a fully functioning gym with weights and machines of all kinds, saunas, handball and racquet ball courts, showers etc that took up two floors. All pretty standard, again for a fortune 100 company.
Ransom primus is still alive! At another mental hospital in Detroit
I love going here
Ben and his wife were laid in state in glass caskets in the main house for years. My dad did some welding for the house of david when i was a little kid. I can remember pulling up and seeing all the woman run inside and hide because they werent supposed to see outsider men we were told.
Wow that’s unbelievably interesting! Thank you for sharing your experience :)
Hold up wait a minute omg omg that’s my hometown I live in the town parchment 😮😮😮😮
I meant city of parchment
I also remember last summer when I got together with some of my friends and we went dirt bike riding in there it was really fun
So glad I know the people that run this property very nice people we did a ghost event there last year, but this place is not abandoned. They are restoring it. The volunteers are very nice and you don’t have to sneak in. You actually can go through the front and just walk right in and if you have any questions or wanna know anything the volunteers know a lot I I am working on a Paranormal video of this as we speak
I lived in Kzo but worked in BH once 94 was closed so I took the back way i ended up lost upon arriving and ended up driving right past that place. I remember seeing them going around in white ford 15 passenger vans
The few times cops came they went after the brightly clothed, noisy ones with flashlights beaming all over. We sat in the shadows in army camo and infrared gun and never got detected.
Imagine how utterly amazing it was in its day! Also these people did believe in God. It was a cult but they did alot of good things and just because Benjamin may or maynot have been a perv 99.9 were really good people! I have really great memories of some of those people. Far from the negative ideals some have.😊
All gone now
Thanks for sharing. Very cool! Pilot here. At 13:19 you asked "I wonder what this was for?". To me, that room appears to have previously been a T hangar for a single aircraft. Looks like at some point they put a rigid wall up in it's place. The other rooms have the same format 'T' shape. I would say that particular facility was an aircraft maintenance shop. Those barrels are likely filled with used engine oil.
Thanks for your input & knowledge! Always great to hear from people who can share some insight on the cool finds! :)
My Great Grandfather Purcy Moved from Australia to live here back in the day. He lived here happily for many many years.
Ive often wondered if there is any underground structure at this site.
None that we could find! There was a basement but it was pretty uneventful so I didn’t even include it in the video. Not much to it, just a little ole room with some trash thrown around.
Were you born yesterday?
I wish, Kenny. My body hurts & I feel old.
Dude stop calling your girlfriend Dude
I'll try :(
Let’s put trump in there as he has been thrown out of his Mar-A-Largo home. A fit place for diaper Donnie.😂
Hate to tell ya that's no cat thats how big detroit rats are
Them rats might as well be alligators at this point
I'm from the area So I know lol
You'd be better off not narrating
Sorry Craig, I’ll do better next time :/
Illegally trespassing. Classy
My apologies Craig, they never answered my film request! We tried getting a tour but they weren’t offering them due to Covid restrictions. I’ve gotten many trespassing tickets in my time & not once did i complain about them, I understand the rules & what may come from breaking them. Thanks for your comment!
So you see a "No Trespassing " sign and decided to try to break in. What a Dumb A$$. Thanks for videoing your crime.
If they answered my film requests I wouldn’t have to commit crimes >:( but I’m a criminal now, no turning back!
@@mostwantedexplorations482 You make a request. no one responds to you. So you violate the law. At least your not ignorant of the Law.
I try to do things the right way, the few times I’ve been caught they were pretty cool about it! I’m not there for any reason other than to document the location & most people are understanding about it :)
I have a history with the hosptal when it was still semi functional and contained patients. If you would like any info on which buildings held what, I might be able to help. Hit me up.
The language of the young Americans today, dude. Every shot his friend was in, phone in hand, eyes locked on screen while outdoors.
Sorry Mark, I will never look at my phone again, pinky promise!

i was raised here i remember me and my mom walking past this a lot
I used to sleep here back when they still had electricity on
It's called Washington Middle School
Thanks Mark!
The only building stand as of now in 2023 is at 616 in the video and you guys must have came in the back side cus it like a 5 second drive to that building from the entrance lol
We always avoided the main entrance, too many stories of cops waiting there! Plus it’s always fun to hike through the woods :) It was sad hearing about the demolition, hope you got to check it out before they started!
I guess you’re to entitled to honor no trespassing signs and attempt to break into places you don't own When you break your neck prowling around i bet your the snowflake who sues
Sorry Jeff! I try to get permission everywhere I go beforehand. I’ve offered to sign waivers waiving the owners of any liability. I understand the risks I take & fully accept the consequences :)
Thank you so much for making this video. I live just two miles away from this place. They recently fenced off the property, and are in the process of securing a demolition permit from the City.
My pleasure Jeff! Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for the comment :)
@@mostwantedexplorations482 They are currently demolishing this building. The majority of it is still up, but the demolition is already well underway.
bruh we need you backkkkkkkkkkk
hi i am back :)
Wow that’s crazy we found the same cat when I went a few months ago
It’s a pretty cool Easter egg for explorers to find!
That was the auditorium, correct tgey did report our earnings there. I was a Finance Director there. I had an office like the one you said you wanted. There was no daycare, the large area was just part of one of many modules. The leaders would work in the offices (like you liked) around the perimeter of the module with clerical non- college grads in the center. There were a lot of clerical people even in the late 90s early 2000s because the systems were not automated like they needed to be to keep up with Walmart. It was a beautiful building
Very interesting! Thank you for your insight :)
Was not a daycare, was the dining area. Was one of the 2 cafeterias. Tile area was the actual food service area. I worked on the 2nd floor west end of the building.
The bad thing is, down in those tunnels, you must be breathing in asbestos. That’s why Zac Bagens always wears a respirator.
Yeah it can get a little funky that’s for sure! My glasses always fog up with masks, it’s definitely not a smart thing to do but hey neither is going into abandoned buildings! Thanks for your comment :)
