      @@ButtercupVisuals Don't you find this shake too much? You can also add variability with low twitches and reduce the intensity, it will be much more realistic. With SUCH an effect, everything only gets worse, to be honest. No man shakes a camera like that, even if he tries.

      @ButtercupVisuals 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Indeed it is. Perhaps we'll be developing a better solution in the future but I felt it is a good starting point to get into the entire foliage interaction system. But personally I still pivot painter toolsets for most of the foliage heavy lifting.

      @@Doomfields Hey, you have to import the mesh as a skeletal one and not as static mesh. Static meshes won't work with physics and all that fancy stuff.

    Isn't a skeletal mesh more expensive than other methods, like weight painting?

    • @ButtercupVisuals
      @ButtercupVisuals 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes it is. It is more expensive than doing it through a shader or any similar method. But you get that sweet physics effect when you interact with it which is not that feasible through shaders.

    Hello, I'm new in ZBrush. first, thanks a lot for this tutorial :) I have a question, so I'm asking.. After sculpting in ZBrush, the mesh will increase too much. and I'm worried that when I hand it over to Unreal Engine as it is, there will be lags due to the mesh or low-spec players won't be able to play the game. Is there no problem if I activate only Nanite from Unreal? or sould I Re-Topology that Model?

    • @ButtercupVisuals
      @ButtercupVisuals 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Generally if you decimate the mesh by 50-70% it still holds up. So one way is to decimate the mesh like this and then UV the triangulated mesh and bake the high poly on it. Another way is again decimate the mesh but by 30-40% and UV that mesh without baking it and use it as nanite inside the engine. Also in case of very dense mesh used as nanite, you can use world aligned textures that don't need UVs to work.

      I advise you to set the engine scalability to 'High' while working in the editor. It will automatically switch to cinematic when you render the final scene. Plus try not to use a lot of Nanite stuff, especially foliage, etc. Virtual shadows can eat your GPU in minutes if you do that. Also, try sticking with 2K resolution textures as much as possible.
