This is not the way to do it! Love the creativity though! 1 Determine wrap length. 2 Wrap once. 3 Through the hole. 4 Wind until pitch is achieved. Follow through step 1 through 4 until all strings are “strung”. Step 5 stretch strings by hand (don’t over stretch or they’ll break). 6 tune. Repeat step 5 and 6 ad nauseam.

Through hole > pull back, one wrap over top of string > bend > max wraps under. Never moves, strings come right off and other techs dont hate you down the line

Tremel-no allows for locking and unlocking the bridge or locking the pitch differently. Its not meant to permanently lock the bridge. Hence reinstalling the springs.

Does scalloping just help play harmonics or is there something else

A FR bridge with a locking nut moves tuning ability to the bridge.. I see here you still use the locking nut but all the tuning screws on the bridge are adjusted to have zero movement - why? Might as well keep the tunability of it if you're going to lock the nut.

There is no doubt, and I saw a fellow repairing a brake like that where it did a double scarf joint where he took a portion of the back of the headstock off and then a eight angle portion of the neck pointing two different directions if you could imagine that I guess made that double scarf joint. I think it worked out great but his name is Jerry Rosa He is a. Both builder and repaire guy

I always wrap each string once or twice around then put it through the post hole. Putting it through the post hole first always makes my strings more vulnerable to breaking.
