I'm glad you can hear a difference Lindsay ! I was only able a slight improvement in ringing. Only a little in the guttural low end. I've been considering a harp for either my two violins but so far haven't sprung. Thank you for this offer. I have a lutier60 miles away who has a harp tailpiece , I'm just not sure the cosmetics is right with the diagonal string line. Wallace Ritchey an old author recommends one . Am seriously considering it but won't know untill I'm playing one. Bless you for this revelation. YOUR violin sounds wonderful !😅

En écoutant toute la musique de Bartok je ne m'ennuie jamais. Il innove dans tous les rythmes avec de l'action. Il secoue la cage et l'académisme. C'est plein de nouveautés et de surprises. C'est difficile de trouver les mots justes. Je le perçois comme un musicien vraiment libre de créer sans se soucier des biens pensants.

My son and I saw Tessa play the other night in New Canaan. Phenomenal musicianship. Lovely woman. Thoroughly thrilled, delighted and amazed at her performance.

I have been listening to this recording for years. A quality that I haven't heard on any other rendition of this piece. It gives me hope for the new generations of performers and stands against the silly notion of "they don't make them like this anymore."
