This is my Xtrail, a lot of other videos mention a level tube inside the fill plug. Mine didn't have that... I read about someone inserting a spare, clean oil dipstick and marking the level before the drained the original transmission fluid. That sounds like a good idea to me although I admit I didn't do it haha

Good day mate, like your video. I want to ask, can I just take off the tailshaft to convert it to fwd? seems no problem with the transfer case (i regularly change the oil). I need to find out what makes the rumbling noise from the rear when I do a sharper turn - left/right (especially on inclining road). already replace two bearings in the rear diff (for the axles)
