If a believer were to ask me the tired old question of "How can there be good in the world without God," I'd reply by asking, "How can there be evil in the world without God?" Why the hell do they give the viewer the impression that these claims are equal with science, with so much evidence on one side than the other?

Scientists and philosophers do science a disservice when they tip toe around the subject of religion and criticise others for taking a more strident approach. Anyone who knows religion knows in essence what religions want. If they had their way, they would have total vindication for their holy books. Religion does not deal in nuance or compromise. By their nature and own admission, they are radical and unrelenting. They also have the numbers unfortunately since most religious people are poor. This is why religion does need to be confronted.

Uhg. Kids are brainwashed by their parents and schools all the time to only accept what that claim is science - at the time. I had a discussion online work 1 arrogant atheist who double talked through the entire things. Science (atheist version only) was right about everything and the Bible was wrong. When I brought up thinks the Bible had said such as "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones." Atheist basically wanted ignore that it anything else I pointed out like "forgiveness" then when I pointed out that good "perfect science" was always changing it's mind and saying" New discovery proves *this* out. *this* is right" (when a year before it *proved* it was wrong. Atheist "Well that's because science is already progressing and learning" I pointed out that if science was always RIGHT then it should have changed the crew and been right the fist time. The fact that it was wrong the fist time meant it could be wrong EVERY time. He started cussing at me. Boy, don't prove the arrogant wrong. That don't like it.

Creationism is an insult to human dignity

I'm from London and I think this is brilliant. I've sort of wavered between old earth vs. young earth much of my life - but the book 'Why Evolution is True' and 'The blind watchmaker' made me realise that main-stream science is blind.
