Frog Pose Class | Active Flexibility For External Hip Rotation
In this class we'll work on getting deeper and more comfortable in our frog pose. Frog is a deep external hip rotation and adductor stretch, and its a great way to open up the hips with the support of the floor. We'll start off with a solid warmup with lots of activation of the hips, and then we'll work into a couple of rounds of PNF stretching in the position as well as long holds to allow for more relaxation.
You'll need a yoga block or a firm pillow for this class, as well as a soft surface for your knees while in frog. I'd highly recommend a gymnastics mat if you do a lot of stretching (like this one: urlgeni.us/amzn/flexmat ) or you can use towels or blankets as well!
