Hey Bill, if you ever get the chance, check out LDs BBQ in East Troy. By far the best BBQ in the state. Amazing brisket, pulled pork and Texas style ribs. BBQ sauce is the best I’ve ever had. Banana pudding on S tier. So worth the drive. Great showcase on the state fair food as well, def gonna have to try those Lemonade bites.

Great video Bill! The number one reason I go to the fair is for the food! 😂 Sadly it used to be the rides but unfortunately I became too large, height/width/and weight 😅 It was my love of food that undid me!!

I may also give the Fairway Fusion from Old Fashioned Sipper Club a try. They won the second annual Drinkies award there at the fair this year.

To be honest, none of these concoctions are anything I would care to eat. Just an unappetizing, over priced mess for the most part. Nevertheless, I enjoyed your video. Thanks.

Hey Bill! I was working on my video when I saw yours dropped! Personally I think the chicken is the better of the two but the heat is mild… I was hoping for much more. The spiciest thing I’ve had from the four items seems to be the drink imo. 😢

I haven’t been back to Lisa’s since the ownership change. Not for any particular reason. But my interest is peaked with these two pizzas. Both look really solid and unique to Milwaukee. Not a lot of pizza places here from my understanding do these kinds like this. Thanks for this review!

Hey Bill! Hope your having a good day. I watched this review about 3 months ago before I applied for the cook position at this restaurant. I have currently been working there since that time, and wanted to clear up some stuff I have heard. In the 3 months I have cooked for Jake and Flynn, I have realized a couple of things about them as owners. Not only have I felt cared about by them, but also have felt that they are constantly trying to learn more about the restaurant industry as well as their restaurant itself. Things are constantly being improved and updated. Having worked in the culinary industry for more than 10 years, these guys are some of the best owners I have worked for (not once hearing them yell or lose their temper with employees, in the kitchen and bar area quite a bit checking on how things are going, asking the cooks for ideas to run the place better/new ideas for menu items, ect.) Just wanted you to have a different perspective from someone who is currently working there.

I hope to see a 2024 version!
