YouCut Video Editor storage loss on iOS
YouCut is my presently favored and very capable yet easy to use video editor on both Android and iOS, but on iOS, it is having an annoying property: it grows and grows in disk space usage, even as you delete old projects. Periodically re-installing it fixes this / seems to be an acceptable workaround. - Update after the video: it seems to create an own album into which it copies films and where they remain even if the project is deleted. Deleting that album may help, too.

FreeDOS in a body bag, on Pocket 386

How to install #FreeDOS on the Pocket 386 - which, as the machine died in my hands, ended up in a body bag. The approach uses Qemu to create a virtual image that then could be placed onto a compact flash card. While that #installation no longer can be booted by MY #Pocket386, as it has been freed from all its mortal toils in death eternal, I am very certain this setup would boot on YOURS.
FreeDOS bug on 86Box emulator

Trying to install FreeDOS on the 86Box emulator, it turned out impossible in some cases: after "installation", the harddisk contained merely binary zeroes, but no operating system. At first, I suspected 86Box... but after filing a bug report, I was told it is FreeDOS that assumes BIOS functionality that is missing. By viewer request, the installation of FreeDOS, and on it, OpenGEM, SEAL and Ozone GUI are shown - first on QEMU, ere finally the install is lifted into the real world. When installing OpenGEM, take the package from the FreeDOS Bonus CD and remember to swsubst driveletter: opengem, and then start OpenGEM from there. One minor correction: I meant “Amiga", not Atari. Atari shipped GEM.
