Great video. I always run with my dog only time I missed was couple of weeks ago when he cut a pad. I'd love to try canicross but my dog won't run in from of me much it's mostly behind me and sometimes beside me I've just subscribed to the channel

I’ve got a little mixed breed shelter pup that is smarter than me and teaching himself things (he accidentally learned to sit on command just from watching my parents’ dogs, he fetched the first time I threw something for him, etc). This is really helpful to have somewhere to go with him, because he certainly wants to learn.

Looking forward to sharing more canicross runs with you, hopefully I can get less bouncy footage with the head mount!

I definitely get you about putting them back on the contacts and throwing away the run. Dilys has running aframe so if she misses that then she misses it and we just carry on, then for seesaw she’s quite nervous so her criteria is to literally just do it (waiting for her to do 2 on 2 off takes too long so i just release her), and then for DW she has stopped contacts and she’s quite slow at shows when she does them so if she was to push it a bit i wouldn’t mind because putting her back on can sometimes discourage her and slow her down if that makes sense? but so far she hasn’t not stopped so i’m hoping it stays like that ahhaha. But definitely keep going and putting Luna back on when she misses her contacts because it will pay off in the long run!!

Congratulations!!!!!! I have a 1year old Springer who I'd like to do competition agility with? She is still young to be eligible. She does well over jumps but is spooky. I have know idea why as I've had since she was 4 months old. looking forward to more of your videos.
