I am certainly not a professional content creator. I would call myself a gear junkie, bag nerd and someone who enjoys the outdoors, adventures and occasionally films along the way. Filming and creating VLOGS started out as a way to hold myself accountable during a recent weight loss journey as well as document some of the fun adventures I have. Just for me, with no intention of putting anything up on TH-cam. But as I began to film more and do some minor editing to my videos, I decided to take the leap and put some online. If nothing else, I hope that my gear review and hiking videos help answer questions and inspire as so many other great creators on TH-cam have done for me.

Denali Alaska with the Mystery Ranch x Carryology Unicorn 2.0
This video is long overdue. I posted a short previously but in this video I go over my packing strategy and why I chose to take this bag on my Alaska trip.
All in all the bag performs great even on longer hikes in the park.
For a bag that I initially wasn’t sure I would even keep, it was the clear choice when I needed something that could transition between travel, work, Nd the outdoors.

Thank you so much for doing this video on the little 15L bullet. I was trying to find one of these “mini GR1s” on Carryology Classified group on Facebook, but it eluded me until I saw a sad little pack slumped over in a group photo. Unfortunately, the seller had no idea what it was, so I had to do a lot of research to figure it out. Your video was the only one that gave me positive confirmation by showing me what I needed to see. Thank you!

how has it held up after 2 years?
Excellent video. I love those TOPO cases. Where did you get the velcro wraps for your cables? Also, at the end of the video when you show your backpack holding all of your gear. Is that the Able Carry Stash Pouch next to the TOPO? What are you using that for? Thanks

How do you like this compared to the Goruck 15 bullet?
Well I’ve gotten rid of the RFF and have four Bullets. I like the RFF but from a quality and comfort standpoint I prefer the bullet.
The “grape” version I just got from Back Country (25%off) is slightly different, and a smidge inferior due to the lack of load lifters and other things. Still, $97 ain’t bad for this beauty.

I’m currently looking at doing the same Mod Fidlock or maybe thinking Cobra Buckle not sure yet….although I do feel the fidlock is lighter in wt and may work better and use the Cobra buckle for my Cerberus Spartan. Thanks for the video content great stuff!
Fidlock seems strange. Beavertail is out or not. It isn’t an access point. Somehow the fidlock company got everyone to think they need to replace non fidlock.
Personal preference. I use the beaver tail often and then have to get in the main compartment with regularity. Just wasn’t a fan of the g hooks.

Honestly starting to suspect all the dudes at carryology are below 5'6" All their mystery ranch colabs are one size too small except the dragon which is made for an average sized dude
It’s certainly better suited for smaller frames. For reference, I’m 5’11” and 205.

I heard they quit making the Leatherman juice. Hang on to it. I like the SOG Trident, i have one with a tanto blade, i got off of Ebay. Looks like your well equipped for a traumatic injury. Stay safe.
The Juice gets some hate, but I love it.
Not too pleased with this release, makes the v.1 feel less special. Pretty soon it’s going to be a herd of Unicorns…
Fair point. I never had the V1 so I can’t really comment. I was most disappointed with the Kaiden 3.0 release for similar reasons however.
exclusivity isnt a good thing. More people enjoying a pack is a good thing

Yes and yes. TSA approved. Safeline Defense Backpack Armor insert. Have one for each of my bags.
I have abgreat 4ll sling from vanquest but i never use it becauses it to small to carry what i need i carry alot more than a pen keys gum and my iphone

You could but for rucking I use the GORUCK Rucker 3.0

Awesome overview, gives me some inspiration for my load out! May I ask: what brand of dry sack do you carry? Looks like it has a valve to compress volume, which makes it seem like a solid pick up
