I liked the Thompson Loop the best. My next favorite would be the right loop.

The bike’s suspension is horrible or set up wrong. Not supple at all. Open your low speed compression all the way

You spent way too much time behind slower riders at the start of the race. Every second you’re stuck behind a slower, and more importantly less skilled riders, the leaders are walking away from you. Less skilled riders are your enemy. Identify and stay away and get away from them as soon as possible. They will take you out on a technical section and possible ruin your race.

I'm doing the santos humpday hustle this month. it's my first race series and I'm in the base class. I got 6th/12 my first race. I was kinda shocked to see the leaders 5min seconds faster after a 35min race lol. I felt so burned up after like 2min of the race. Any tips for improving? particularly on that first sprint?

I gotta say bro, you ran one heck of a great race there. I was really rooting for you! When you passed that one guy he had this look on his face like you just farted on him! LOL! He seemed to take that really personally! You have fantastic stamina! Amazing! Respect to you! I think if there had been more features you would have taken those guys. I think you said something about them being roadies. Anyway, I've been on that trail several times with my 2 boys. Brings back find memories. Thanks for the excellent footage!
