Ending The Year Strongly | 24/26 Official MBLD
this attempt felt really messy so i was surprised to see 24/26 solved instead of a mess
first place, pr by 8 points, overall pb, and illinois state record by 6 points!
this attempt and my 24 3bld single pushed me to the top 100 in kinchranks, placing me at wr99 ! this was one of my goals for the year so im glad that i got it at my last comp of 2024
in 2025 i will grind until i can sub hour 40 or possibly 45 cubes

24.47 done at shhicago iii i was convinced that it would be a dnf i dnfed a 26 in r1 and this is pr by 5 seconds im really hyped to get a pr that reflects my improvement cube: gts3lm

lets not talk about the last few seconds of the solve please this 6x6 is my favorite ever and i recommend getting it before the spark v3 comes out (whenever that is) cube: purple edition choshi 6x6 :)

be sure to do parity or else you get 18 instead of 20 points this attempt felt slow but it ended up being 52 minutes long lol journey to sub hour 30 cubes begins here 38:02 memo 14:15 execution = 52:17 1:28 memo per cube, 33 exec per cube

this is much larger than my previous largest attempt of 31 it was pretty fun but never before did i struggle with memo as much as i did with the last two cubes i think i will stick to low 30 cube attempts for a while before i do this many again 40 cube attempt coming this december 1:03:41 memo 25:20 execution = 1:29:01 attempt time = 1:40 memo per cube, 39.5 execution per cube

i wasnt expecting to break my 2.72 so quickly pretty nice scrambles and i was in the zone for the last three solves this average is part of an official 3.07 ao12 (that was 2 out of 2.97 😳) (i might upload it later) 2.27 mo3 for the last 3 solves cube: stevin ii pyraminx

funny how i got a good time (59.93) with all of that crowd noise you can see how big the crowd is at the end of the video also this didnt show in the wr video, but huge shoutout to the delegates because they asked everyone if they needed an extra from that crowd reaction cube: 562

sorry about the 720p but i wanted to save storage on my phone it ended up being 11/30 with 48:11 memo 26:00 execution = 1:14:12 im still happy i did this attempt even though i only got eleven of them solved, the fact that it was fourteen minutes over the hour shows that i can realistically get sub hour if i practice this more! for now, i will figure out how to structure reviews and what to put ...

I’m pretty sure the gan mega is better, but I’m not spending $60 on a ball core with pre set tension. I’ll just get the Dayan since I’m not a serious mega solver and it would be a great upgrade form the yuhu, due its lighter weight and smaller size
very well said! i personally like the gan more than the dayan, but you still cannot go wrong with the dayan enjoy your new megaminx when it comes!
what do you mean preset tension, you can adjust tension of each center on gan maglev megaminx
@@overjoyedbrass like Yk how the gan and the tornado v3 has like preset settings that you can change to and not like a screw where it’s impossible to know if each side is even. Thats what I meant by preset settings
